hello dear ,

I completely understand how worried you must feel at 26, but I want to assure you that your situation is very common and highly manageable with the right approach. PCOD doesn’t mean your body is damaged or that you won’t have regular periods or fertility in the future. Sometimes cycles stop temporarily because of Ama (undigested toxins), stress, or other medicines, but this is reversible. With gentle detoxification, proper nourishment, and herbal support, your body can regain balance naturally. You’re young, your ovaries are responsive, and with consistent care including diet, lifestyle, and Ayurveda your periods can become regular again. There’s no need to panic; it just takes patience and steady follow-through, and your body will respond gradually. You’re not alone, and this can absolutely improve.

The goal now is to first improve digestion and detoxify (Ama Pachana), then provide proper nourishment and hormonal support (Snehapana & internal medicines) to naturally regulate cycles.

Treatment Plan:

Ama Pachana (Detox & Digestion Improvement) – First 5–7 days Chitrakadi Vati: 1 tablet twice daily before meals with warm water.

Sukumaram Kashayam: 20–30 ml twice daily after meals (optional for digestive support if needed).

Snehapana (Internal Oleation/Nourishment) – Next 3–5 days

Shatavari Ghrita: 1 tsp in warm milk at night.

Internal Medicines (Hormonal and Cycle Regulation) – After Ama Pachana & Snehapana

Sukumaram Kashayam: 40 ml twice daily after meals for 3–4 weeks.

Shatavari Churna: 1 tsp with warm milk at night.

Optional: Chitrakadi Vati 1 tablet twice daily before meals if digestion still weak.

Diet & Lifestyle: Small, frequent meals; avoid fried, oily, sugary, and processed foods. Include whole grains, vegetables, fiber-rich foods, and lean protein. Drink warm water throughout the day. Moderate exercise like brisk walking, yoga, or light cardio daily. Stress reduction through meditation, deep breathing, or pranayama.

Investigations (if needed): Hormonal profile: FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin. Ultrasound pelvis to assess ovaries if not done recently. Blood sugar and lipid profile (common in PCOD).

Track periods, bowel movements, appetite, sleep, and general well-being. Start with Ama Pachana, then Snehapana, then internal medicines; consistency is key. Avoid sudden changes in medications or diet.

With regular treatment and lifestyle management, your cycles can become regular naturally over the next 1–2 months.

Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

The safety and efficacy of “Krishnas She Care Juice” for PCOD can vary, and it’s essential to consider a few factors: Ayurveda and PCOD Ayurveda approaches PCOD as a Kapha-Vata imbalance, and treatment aims to restore hormonal balance and regulate the menstrual cycle. a combination of herbal remedies, dietary changes, and lifestyle modifications. Common Ayurvedic herbs used for PCOD include: Shatavari: Known for its hormone-balancing properties.
Ashwagandha: Helps in managing stress, which can worsen PCOD symptoms. Triphala: Supports digestive health and detoxification. Guduchi: Boosts immunity and reduces inflammation. Neem: Purifies blood and helps with skin conditions like acne. What to Do Assess your specific condition and medical history.

Determine if “Krishnas She Care Juice” is suitable for you and whether it interacts with any other medications you are taking. When considering any supplement or herbal product, including “Krishna’s juice,” for a medical condition like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), also known as Polycystic Ovary Disorder (PCOD), it’s crucial to proceed with caution and consult a healthcare professional. Here’s what you need to know:

What is “Krishna’s Juice” for PCOD/PCOS?

"Krishna’s Herbal & Ayurveda" is a brand that produces various juices and herbal formulations. They offer a product specifically called “She Care Juice” which is marketed for women’s health concerns, including hormonal imbalances, irregular periods, and PCOS/PCOD. The product is advertised as an Ayurvedic herbal blend containing ingredients like Baheda, Ashok Chhal, and Amla, among others. The company claims it helps to regulate menstrual cycles, balance hormones, and ease period discomfort.

Potential Benefits and Ingredients

The ingredients found in this type of Ayurvedic formulation often have traditional uses in managing symptoms related to hormonal imbalances. For example, ingredients like:

Ashoka (Ashok Chhal): Traditionally used to support uterine health and regulate menstrual cycles. Amla: A rich source of Vitamin C and antioxidants, which can help with overall health and reducing inflammation.

Baheda: Used in Ayurvedic medicine for various health benefits. Some of the claimed benefits of this specific juice and similar products are: Hormonal balance Regulation of menstrual cycles Relief from period pain and cramps Support for hair and skin health

Important Considerations and Warnings Lack of Scientific Evidence: While these products are based on traditional Ayurvedic principles, there is often a lack of rigorous, large-scale scientific studies to prove their effectiveness and safety for PCOD/PCOS. The claims are primarily based on traditional uses and anecdotal evidence.

No Substitute for Conventional Treatment: Herbal remedies and supplements should not be used as a substitute for prescribed medical treatment for PCOD/PCOS. Conventional treatments, which may include lifestyle changes, medications (like Metformin or birth control pills), and other therapies, are often necessary to manage the symptoms and prevent long-term complications.

Quality and Safety: The quality and purity of herbal products can vary. It’s important to choose a reputable brand. Be aware that supplements are not regulated in the same way as pharmaceuticals, so there is a risk of contamination or inaccurate labeling.

Side Effects: While the brand claims no reported side effects, some users have reported the product being ineffective. Additionally, even natural ingredients can cause side effects or allergic reactions in some individuals. It’s always best to start with a small dose and monitor your body’s response.

Holistic Approach: The most effective approach to managing PCOD/PCOS often involves a combination of lifestyle changes (diet and exercise), conventional medical treatment, and in some cases, complementary therapies. Focusing on a healthy diet, regular physical activity, and stress management is key. In summary, while “Krishna’s juice” is marketed for PCOD/PCOS and contains ingredients traditionally used for women’s health, It should be considered a potential supplement to your primary medical treatment, not a replacement.  Treatment 1) shatavari leha- 1 tsf before food 2 times with warm milk

HELLO MONISHA,

SAFETY OF “KRISHNA’S SHE CARE JUICE” -This is an Ayurvedic/herbal formulation marketed for women’s hormonal health -Ingridients usually include Aloe vera, lodhra, Ashoka, shatavari, dashmoola, nagkeshar, trikatu, triphala etc -these herbs are traditionally used in Ayurveda for menstrual regulation, reducing pelvic congestion, and balancing hormones -Safety= general considered safe if taken in recommended doses but =quality varies by brand =possible side effects= gastric upset, loose stools, or allergic reaction -should be avoided in pregnancy -if you have liver/kidney problems, consult before use

So yes, it can be used as supportive therapy, but it’s not a substitute for medical PCOD management.

Since you periods stopped after taking another medicine, this may be drug-induced amenorrhea, or worsening PCOD

PCOD means that your ovaries are not working normally. Instead of releasing one healthy egg every month, your ovaries are producing many small immature eggs that stay inside and form small fluid- filled sacs or cysts

Think of your body as a system of hormones that must stay in balance.

IN PCOD -the body makes too many male hormones which women also have in small amounts - this stops ovulation, causing irregular or no periods -it also affect insulin, a hormone that controls blood sugar. If insulin is not working properly(insulin resistance), it makes the body gain weight and worsens pcod.

In Ayurveda, PCOD is caused by an imbalance in the kapha and vata doshas, leading to -ama(toxins) blocking the channels in your ovaries -slow metabolism(poor digestion- weak agni) - hormonal irregularities - stress(aggravates vata) adding to iiregularity

INTERNALLY START WITH

1) M2 TONE SYRUP(by charak)= 2 tsp twice daily after meals = helps ovaries work better, bring back your periods regularly

2) KANCHANAR GUGGULU( baidyanth/ AVP)= 2 tabs twice dailyafter meals with warm water = melts small cysts in your ovaries, supports thyroid and weight loss

3) ASHOKARISHTA(baidyanth/dabur)= 2 tsp with equal water twice daily after meals = regulates periods, reduces heavy bleeding and pain, supports uterus

4) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime = clears toxins from your body and improves digestion

5) EVECARE CAPSULES(by himalaya)= 1 cap twice daily after meals =balances hormones, improves ovarian function, regularises periods

DIET PLAN

FOODS TO INCLUDE

1) WHOLE GRAINS -millets= foxtail, barnyard, kodo, little millet- regulate insulin and reduce fat -quinoa, amaranth, red/brown rice -rolled oats(not instant)

2) VEGETABLES -focus on bitter, pungent, and astringent food -bitter gourd, drumstick, methi -cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, ash gourd -avoid raw salads, cook lightly and digestive spices

3) FRUITS(LOW GLYCEMIC) -amla=fresh or churna -pomegrante -apples, pears, papaya, berries

4) PROTEINS -Plant based= Moong dal, massor dal, horse gram, sprouted lentils -Animal based (if non veg)= boiled eggs, grilled fish(2 times/week)

5) HEALTHY FATS -cold pressed sesame oil -ghee=1 tsp/day -flax seed oil -seeds= flax, chia, pumpkin seeds- support estrogen balance

6) HERBS AND SPICES -turmeric, cinnamon, fenugreek, cumin, coriander, ajwian, -black pepper+ ginger

FOODS TO AVOID -cold and raw foods like smoothies, raws salads - sugar and white bread=causes weight gain and acne -fried or packaged foods= increases toxins -milk,panner,cheese= can make cysts worse -stress and late night= disrupts hormones

LIFESTYLE CHANGES FOR DEEP HEALING

1) DAILY RHYTHM -wake up before 7 am= sets hormonal rhythm -hydration=warm water with lemon+pinch of turmeric or methi seeds water(soaked overnight) -meal timing= eat meals at regular intervals; no skipping -sleep= sleep by 10-10:30 pm to optimise melatonin and cortisol balance -avoid excessive screen time, especially before sleep

DETOX PRACTICES TO FOLLOW these helps removes toxins and reduce cyst formation -Triphala churna= 1 tsp at night with warm water -CASTOR OIL=montly one 10 ml in milk at night -Self oil massage= sesame oil daily before shower -TAKRA- buttermilk spiced with cumin and ginger daily after lunch

YOGA AND MOVEMENT

BEST YOGA ASANAS -malasana= opens pelvic region -baddha konasana= improves circulation to ovaries -Bhujangasana= stimulates abdominal organs -setu bandhasana= balances thyroid and pelvic hormones -suryanamskar= 5-7 rounds

PRANAYAM -nadi sodhana= balances hormones, calms mind - bhramari= reduces anxiety and supports pitutary -kapalbhati= light version, support metabolism

MIND BODY CONNECTION PCOD is deeply linked with stress and emotional stagnation -practicue gratitude journaling, emotional release -engage in art, music, or nature therapy -reduce overthinking and over working- both aggravate vata

DO FOLLOW THIS CONSISTENTLY FOR 3 MONTHS

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

For managing PCOD with Ayurveda, consistency and balance in treatments are key. Krishnas She Care juice, which is a herbal formulation often used in PCOD treatment, aims at balancing hormones and supporting ovarian health. Generally considered safe, but its efficacy can vary depending on your constitution (prakriti) and specific imbalances. It would be best to consult an Ayurvedic practioner to assess whether it’s suited for you. They can provide you with a personalized plan, considering factors like your dosha imbalance, lifestyle, and any other health conditions.

Since you mentioned that your cycle normalized once you took Ayurvedic medicine, it suggests a favorable response to natural treatments. However, the reoccurrence of menstrual irregularities after taking medications for another condition indicates there may be multiple factors at play. It’s crucial to address the root cause, which often involves balancing your hormones and correcting any metabolic imbalances. Regular check-ups with your healthcare provider can provide insights into how to best integrate personal treatments, like She Care juice, into your regimen.

For your lifestyle, incorporating a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and stress-reduction techniques can support your treatment. Eating at regular intervals, emphasizing whole foods like green leafy vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds can be advantageous. Practicing mindfulness or yoga may also help moderate the stress which contributes to hormone imbalances.

Since PCOD can be affected by multiple factors, maintaining a wholesome routine that aligns with your ayurvedic type could be greatly beneficial. Ensure to stay hydrated, get adequate sleep, and consider herbal supplements under professional guidance. Regular monitoring for changes or side effects as you integrate ayurvedic options, like Krishnas She Care juice, can provide assurance and help adapt your approach as necessary.

HELLO MONISHA,

As for Krishna’s She care juice, there’s no reliable clinical evidence or authoritative reports confirming its safety or efficacy for PCOD- so caution is advised.

Ayurvedic management for your case

1) BALANCED DIET -favour warm, freshly cooked meals over cold or processed foods -go for low glycemic, fiber rich foods: whole grains, lentils, leafy greens, bitter gourds, and seasonal fruits. Avoid refined carbs, sweets, heavy dairy, and caffeine. -Use hormone balancing spices like turmeric , cinnamon, fenugreek and ginger which support insulin sensitivity and circulation

2) INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

MORNING (empty stomach) -Triphala churna= 5 gm with lukewarm water to cleanse bowel, regulate metabolism

AFTER BREAKFAST -Kanchanar guggulu= 2 tabs -Chandraprabha vati= 2 tabs =helps in ovarian cyst shrinkage + improves insulin sensitivity

AFTERNOON (after meals) -Ashokarishta= 20 ml + equal water =uterine tonic, regulate menstruation

EVENING. (before dinner) -Sukumaram kashaya= 15 ml + equal water =regulates apana vata, improves ovarian function

NIGHT (after dinner) -Dashmoolarishta= 20 ml + equal water =reduces pelvic congestion, balances vata

BEDTIME -Shatavari ghrita= 1 tsp with warm milk =nourishes reproductive tissue, supports ovulation

3) LIFESTYLE AND ROUTINE -keep a consistent daily rhythm= wake early , go to bed by 10 pm, and eat on time -include 30-45 min of daily activity like brisk walking, yoga, or moderate exercise to boost metabolism -Manage stress through pranayam, meditation, and mindfullness

4) YOGA AND PRANAYAM -Gentle asanas such as baddha konasana, bhujangasama, supta baddha konasana, balasana, ustrasana, bharadvajasana and surya namaskar help stimulate reproductive organs and reduce stress.

-Avoid self- prescribing juices or supplements like Krishns’s She care juice without validated expert guidance

THANK YOU

For PCOD (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), managing symptoms often involves a balance between hormonal regulation, lifestyle adjustments, and appropriate medicinal interventions. In your situation, it’s possible that the introduction of a new medication for another condition has influenced your hormonal balance, thus affecting your menstrual cycle.

Regarding Krishna’s She Care juice, it’s marketed as a herbal formulation that may support women’s health, but its specific effectiveness for PCOD is less clear. It’s crucial to understand that each individual’s prakriti (constitution) and current state of health should guide such decisions. In Siddha-Ayurveda, addressing the root cause — which in PCOD often relates to a kapha imbalance and irregularities in agni (digestive fire) — is essential.

To manage PCOD, focus on maintaining a balanced diet enriched with fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, while avoiding heavy, sugary, and fatty foods that may aggravate kapha. Regular exercise can help regulate body weight, which is beneficial since PCOD may be influenced by weight-related hormonal dynamics. Yoga and meditation can also support stress management, indirectly aiding hormonal balance.

You may consider taking She Care juice if it’s appropriate to your dominant dosha and current symptoms. However, it’s always wise to consult with a healthcare provider familiar with both Ayurveda and your personal health history before adding it to your routine, as herbal formulations can interact unpredictably with other medications.

In the meanwhile, observe your body’s responses to any change in diet or lifestyle, and report any adverse effects or continuous irregularities back to a healthcare professional promptly. If there are serious disruptions in your menstrual cycle or additional symptoms arise, it would be important to explore them further possibly with conventional medical support to ensure no underlying complications are present.
