My age 35 having acne and hypothyroid, gastric problem and not able to eat properly. Using tab 50 MG for thyroid pls give me suggestions. Periods are regular , but only light bleeding . Any home remedies

In Ayurveda, acne is often associated with imbalances in the doshas, particularly Pitta dosha. Hypothyroidism can lead to Kapha and Vata imbalances as well. Start by focusing on your diet; prioritize warm, freshly-cooked foods that are easy to digest, as poor digestion, often due to weak agni (digestive fire), might be contributing to your condition. Avoid cold, processed, and excessively spicy or oily foods, as these could aggravate Pitta.

Include foods like ginger, cumin, and fennel in your meals to aid digestion and balance doshas. Drinking warm water with a bit of lemon first thing in the morning can stimulate digestion. Eating small, frequent meals instead of large meals can also alleviate gastric discomfort.

For acne, a paste made from turmeric and sandalwood applied externally can be beneficial due to their anti-inflammatory and cooling properties. Turmeric is also known to support the body’s natural healing process.

Regarding hormonal balance and light periods, consider herbs like Ashwagandha or Shatavari which are known for supporting endocrine health. Shatavari, especially, is useful for women’s health as it can naturally balance hormones. Consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner for appropriate dosages given your thyroid condition.

Additionally, stress-reducing practices like yoga and meditation can support hormonal and digestive health. Breathing exercises such as Pranayama can be calming for Vata imbalance and can help regulate energy flow. Engaging in regular physical activity that you enjoy is also beneficial.
