Yes, these can be taken together. It is a highly compatible and effective combination for treating acne and pigmentation.

1. Dosage & Method: Mix: 15 ml Mahamanjisthadi Kwath + 15 ml Khadirarishta. Add 30 ml of lukewarm water (Equal amount of water to the total medicine quantity). Take twice daily, immediately after food.

Khadirarishta: Excellent for clearing bacterial infection, acne and reducing toxins (Ama) in the skin. Mahamanjisthadi Kwath: Specifically targets Pitta dosha to reduce inflammation and improve complexion/pigmentation.

Dietary Note: Advise the patient to avoid sour foods (Amla), fermented items and excess chillies while on this medication to prevent further blood vitiation.

YES THESE TWO MEDICINES CAN BE TAKEN TOGETHER AND THEY ARE OFTEN COMBINED IN SKIN CONDITIONS LIKE ACNE PIGMENTATION AND CHRONIC SKIN INFLAMMATION

MAHAMANJISTADI KWATH AND KHADIRARISTA WORK IN DIFFERENT BUT COMPLEMENTARY WAYS MAHAMANJISTADI KWATH HELPS IN BLOOD PURIFICATION REDUCING HEAT AND CONTROLLING INFLAMMATORY ACNE WHILE KHADIRARISTA HELPS IN TOXIN CLEARANCE SKIN ALLERGIC TENDENCY AND PIGMENTATION

THE CORRECT WAY TO TAKE THEM IS MAHAMANJISTADI KWATH 20 ML KHADIRARISTA 20 ML ADD 20 TO 30 ML OF WATER TAKE THIS MIXTURE TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD

DO NOT TAKE THEM ON EMPTY STOMACH AS BOTH ARE STRONG BLOOD PURIFIERS

FOR BETTER RESULTS MAKE SURE HE AVOIDS EXCESS FRIED SPICY JUNK FOOD CHOCOLATES AND LATE NIGHT EATING ALSO AVOID OVERUSE OF COSMETICS AND FACE WASHES

IMPROVEMENT IN ACNE MAY BE SEEN IN 3 TO 4 WEEKS PIGMENTATION TAKES LONGER AROUND 6 TO 8 WEEKS

IF ACNE INCREASES OR STOOLS BECOME LOOSE THE DOSE SHOULD BE REDUCED

THESE MEDICINES ARE GENERALLY SAFE FOR LONG TERM USE WHEN TAKEN IN THE ABOVE DOSE AND WITH PROPER DIET

Hlo,

Yes, they are often prescribed together in Ayurveda for:- firstly confirm age …

Acne (yauvan pidika) Pigmentation / dark spots Blood purification and skin inflammation

They work synergistically: - Mahamanjishtadi Kwath → purifies blood, reduces inflammation, helps pigmentation - Khadirarishta → helps acne, itching, bacterial component, and skin allergies About mixing & water These medicines are not mixed together in the same cup They are usually taken separately, each diluted with water

Typical adult method (general practice): - Mahamanjishtadi Kwath → diluted with equal quantity of warm water - Khadirarishta → diluted with equal quantity of water ❗ They are NOT taken “equally mixed together” as one combined dose. ⚠️ Very important question before dosage advice

👉 How old is your son? This matters because: - Khadirarishta contains self-generated alcohol - Dosage and even suitability change for children vs teenagers vs adults

If he is: Under 12 years → special caution needed 13–18 years → lower doses Above 18 years → adult dose may be considered Additional advice for better results

Along with medicines, acne & pigmentation improve much faster if: Avoid oily, spicy, fried, junk food Reduce chocolate, bakery items, cold drinks Ensure regular bowel movement Wash face with a mild herbal cleanser, not harsh soaps Avoid squeezing pimples

Hello Thanks for reaching out. It’s totally normal for young people to deal with acne and dark spots. Lots of people use Ayurvedic medicines like Mahamanjishthadi Kwath and Khadirarishta for these issues.

It is important to make sure you’re taking them the right way for them to work best and be safe.

YOUR CONCERN

Your son’s got acne and dark spots, and you’re asking about Mahamanjishthadi Kwath and Khadirarishta. Specifically, you want to know if he can take them together and if he can mix them with water at the same time.

AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING

Acne and dark spots usually happen because of:

–Pitta and Rakta imbalances: Think of it as too much heat or impurities in the blood. –Teenage hormone changes –Too much body heat: can be from food or just how his body works. –Eating too much greasy or unhealthy food: We all know this one.

Both medicines you asked about clean the blood and cool down Pitta, so they’re a good fit. But when and how he takes them makes a huge difference.

HERE IS DIRECT ANSWER

❌ Should Mahamanjishthadi Kwath and Khadirarishta be mixed together?

Nope. Don’t mix them in one dose.

Why not? –Both are pretty strong. –Mixing them can mess with his digestion. –Could lead to heartburn, loose stools, or the medicines not working as well.

✅ The right way to take them:

1. Mahamanjishthadi Kwath 15 ml Mix with: An equal amount of warm water and take Morning and evening

2. Khadirarishta: 10–15 ml with equal amount of water After lunch and dinner

👉 Taking them separately like this makes them safer and more effective.

FOOD AND LIFESTYLE

❌AVOID

* Oily, fried foods * Baked goods, chocolates * Sodas * Very spicy food * Eating late at night

✅ INCLUDE

* Green veggies * Fruits (like apples, pomegranates) * Moong dal * Warm water * Getting enough sleep

Yes, he can definitely take both Mahamanjishthadi Kwath and Khadirarishta as part of his treatment plan. Just remember, don’t mix them in the same glass. Taking them at the right times makes all the difference!

Yes both Mahamanjistadi Kwath and Khadirarishta can be taken together for acne and pigmentation if used properly and in the right dose they actually complement each other very well for skin purification and blood cleansing

Mahamanjistadi Kwath works more on reducing inflammation heat and pigmentation from inside while Khadirarishta helps in correcting recurrent acne controlling oiliness itching and supporting long term skin healing

For a teenage child the usual safe method is to take them separately but in the same time period rather than mixing them together in one glass

Mahamanjistadi Kwath 10 ml kwath mixed with equal quantity of warm water To be taken twice daily after food

Khadirarishta 10 ml mixed with equal quantity of water To be taken twice daily after food

Avoid giving Khadirarishta on an empty stomach as it may cause acidity

Also acne and pigmentation in children are very commonly linked to digestion hormonal changes and heat inside the body so medicines need at least 6 to 8 weeks for visible improvement

If acne is severe painful or leaving marks then a local application and mild internal correction may also be required based on the child age weight and digestion

The usual practice is to take them separately, at different times of the day: - Mahamajishtadi Kwath: 20–30 ml, twice daily, after meals, diluted with equal water. - Khadirarishta: 15–20 ml, twice daily, after meals, diluted with equal water.

🌱 Supportive Tips for Acne & Pigmentation - Diet: Avoid fried, spicy, and junk foods. Favor green leafy vegetables, bitter foods (karela, methi), and fruits like papaya and guava. - Lifestyle: Encourage hydration, regular sleep, and stress management. - External care: Neem face wash, sandalwood paste, or turmeric + aloe vera gel can soothe acne.

Yes sure. Take them 20 ml with luke warm water. Also if he is between the age 16-25 yrs make him understand it is a natural process of body coping up with the mechanism of getting an adult. Please go for medications if it is too much and hampering his confidence.

With passing time they will reduce themselves. If not many, if troubled them they will create permanant marks.

Use DERMADEW ACNE FACE WASH 5-6 times a day. If that doesn’t work go for internal medication.

Some other tips.

✔️ Do’s: ✔️ Stay Hydrated. Drink buttermilk. Limit dairy intake. Home cooked meal that is a balanced diet. Stress free lifestyle

❌ Dont’s: ❌ Oily and Spicy food. Processed food. Preserved food. Packed and ready to eat items. Pickles Papad Dried Fish Curd

💊 Medication: 💊

Cap. Marvin 2 caps twice a day before food

Tab. Gandharva Haritaki 3 tabs at bed time with a cup of hot water.

For pigments KUMKUMADI TAILAM 4-5 drops light massage only at bed time.

HELLO,

Your son’s acne and pigmentation are not just a skin problem. In Ayurveda, skin reflects the internal balance of digestion, blood purity, hormones, and lifesstyle

WHY ACNE HAPPENS -During teenage years, hormonal changes increase oil production -when digestion is weak, impure waste forms -This ama mixes with Pitta and kapha -This disturbed combination enters the blood -The impure blood reaches the skin and blocks pores->acne -After healing, leftover heat and blood impurities cause dark marks/ pigmentation

IN AYURVEDIC TERMS -ACNE= yuvana pidika -Main involved factors -DOSHA= pitta + kapha -DHATU= blood, fat (oiliness) -SROTAS= raktavaha and swedavaha -ROOT CAUSE= weak digestioN

TREATMENT GOALS -purify blood -reduce excess heat and oil -dry and heal active acne -prevent new acne formation -lighten pigmentation -improve digestion and metabolism -support natural skin healing

INTERNAL MEDICINES

1) MAHAMANJISTHADI KASHAYA= 15ml + 15ml warm water wine daily after meals for 8 weeks =best for blood purification, reduces inflammation, redness, pigmentation, corrects pitta imbalance

2) KHADIRARISHTTA= 15ml + 15ml water twice daily after meals for 8 weeks = specific for skin diseases, reduces oiliness, itching, recurrent acne

** DO NOT MIX BOTH MEDICINES IN ONE CUP. TAKE SEPERATELY**

3) AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA= 1/2 tsp at night with warm water =mild detox

4) GANDHAK RASAYANA= 1 tab twice daily after meals =for healing scars and preventing infections

EXTERNAL TREATMENT

FOR ACTIVE ACNE NIMBADI CHURNA/ LODHRADI LEPA -mix with rose water -apply thin layer on acne -wash after 20 min -use once daily

FOR PIGMENTATION -Manjistha + haridra + chandana -mix with milk or rose water -apply on marks -2-3 times per week Avoid harsh scrubs and chemical creams

LIFESTYLE CHANGES SLEEP -sleep before 10:30 pm -late nights increase pitta-> more acne

SKIN CARE -wash face only 2 times dail -avoid frequent touching or popping pimples -use mild herbal face wash

MENTAL STRESS -stress increases hormonal imbalance -encourage calm routine and outdoor activit

YOGA ASANAS -surya namaskar -bhujangasana -paschimottanasana -halasana

PRANAYAM -Anulom Vilom=balances hormones -Sheetali/ Sheetkari= reduces heat -Bhramari= reduces stress 15-20min daily is enough

DIET -bitter vegetables eat more neem , karela -green leafy vegetables -fruits like apple, pomegranate -warm water

AVOID -oily and fried food -junk food, pizza, burgers -excess sugar and chocolates -cold drinks and bakery items -excess milk and cheese

DIET DISCIPLINE DECIDES 50% OF TREATMENT SUCCESS

SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES -Neem water wash face -Aloe vera gel pure, thin layer -Turmeric + honey face pack once weekly -Triphala water for drinking at night occasionally

EXPECTED RESULTS AND PATIENCE -New acne reduces in 2-3 weeks -oiliness decreases in 1 month -pigmentation lightens in 6-8 weeks -complete skin balance takes 2-3 months Ayurveda works from inside out, so results are gradual but long lasting

Acne and pigmentation in young age are temporary but need proper attention. suppressing pimples with creams may give quick results, but Ayurveda corrects the root cause, ensuring -clear skin -better digestion -balanced hormones -long term confidence If followed sincerely, this approach can prevent further recurrence and improve overall health, not just the skin

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU
