Hello I totally get what you’re going through. Dealing with really painful psoriasis for six years, especially when it’s all over your back, chest, stomach, and thighs with those thick white scales, is incredibly tough and just plain draining. And when the weather keeps messing with you, causing flare-ups, it really feels like the disease is running your life.but dont worry we are here to help you out 😊

YOUR CONCERN

* You’ve had psoriasis for 6 years. * It’s really bad, painful, and spread out. * You have thick white scales on your back, chest, stomach, and thighs. * The spots hurt. * It gets worse when the weather changes. * You’ve tried meds by mouth, but they didn’t help for long. * You’re scared it will keep coming back forever.

How Ayurveda sees it:

Ayurveda calls psoriasis Eka Kushta, which falls under a bigger group of skin issues called Kushta Roga.

Basically, what’s happening is:

* Your Tridosha (especially Vata and Kapha, with some Pitta thrown in) are out of whack. * Your blood isn’t clean (Rakta Dhatu dushti). * You have Ama (toxins) building up because your digestion isn’t strong (Mandagni). * Since it’s been around for so long, it means there’s a deep imbalance.

That’s why those creams or temporary pills only hide the symptoms, and the problem keeps popping back up. You can’t truly get better without fixing your digestion (Agni), blood (Rakta), and those imbalances (Doshas).

Can it ever really go away and not come back?

Ayurveda isn’t about instant fixes. But if you do these things:

* Shodhana (detox) properly * Take the right Shamana medicines * Stick to a strict diet and lifestyle

You can definitely have long periods where it’s gone. The number of times it flares up, how bad it is, the pain, and how much it spreads can all be greatly reduced.

Your Ayurvedic Treatment Plan:

INTERNAL MEDICATION (for skin cleaning, immunity, and preventing it from coming back):

* Arogyavardhini Vati: 1 pill, twice a day after food. This helps keep your liver working well, cleans your blood, and cuts down on scaling and thickness.

* Gandhak Rasayan: 1 pill, twice a day after food. This is a classic for chronic skin problems, helps your skin heal, and reduces itching and scaling.

* Mahamanjishthadi Kashayam: 15 ml with the same amount of warm water, twice a day before food. Great for cleaning your blood and controlling how much it spreads and swells.

* Khadirarishta: 20 ml, twice a day after food. Helps stop it from coming back and is good for psoriasis you’ve had for a while.

* Avipattikar Churna: ½ teaspoon at night with warm water. Makes your digestion better and stops toxins from building up (super important!).

EXTERNAL. CARE (VERY IMPORTANT):

* Daily Oil: Use 777 Oil or Karanja Taila. Gently put it on the spots once a day. Don’t scratch! * Medicated Bath Add Triphala or Neem tea to your bathwater. Don’t use hot water on the spots.

Deep Cleaning Therapy (Highly recommended, done with an Ayurvedic expert):

* Virechana(a detox for Pitta-Rakta) * Sometimes Raktamokshana

These therapies are key to keeping it from coming back forever.

DIET PLAN (This is 50% of your success):

❌AVOID

* Curd, buttermilk at night * Fish, prawns, eggs, red meat * Baked goods, junk food * Sour, fermented foods * Cold drinks, fridge water * Alcohol & smoking * Sleeping during the day

✅INCLUDE

* Eat warm, freshly cooked food. * Rice, green gram, bottle gourd, ridge gourd. * Bitter veggies (neem, bitter melon). * Lots of warm water. * Eat dinner early (before 7:30 pm).

Weather Care (IMPORTANT FOR YOU):

* Keep your skin safe from cold and sudden weather shifts. * Put oil on daily, even when the spots are better. * Wear only cotton clothes.

Psoriasis is a long-term thing, but: * You can manage it. * The pain, scaling, and spread can be made much better. * You can have long periods where you don’t have symptoms.

With solid Ayurvedic treatment, people usually see real improvement within 6–8 weeks, and if you keep up with it, it stays better.

Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate
