Dermatologist saw me in october and found out that it is lichen planopilaris. They are injecting steroids right now. I am experiencing inflammation and redness in different areas of my scalp. According to ayurvedic view, we relate it with pitta aggravation as it causes redness, burning, inflammation Also dryness, hairloss condition can be correlated with vata involvement. Ayurveda can support your healing system by some medicines that decrease these factors.
1. Triphala kashaya - Boil Triphala choornam 2 tsp in 500 ml of water and let it reduce to 350 ml. Use this for hair wash at room temperature.
It will reduce your itching tendency and inflammation.
2. Dhurdhurapathradi kera tailam for external application weekly twice - (2 weeks) - mainly to releive itching and hair fall.
3. Aragwadharishtam 10 ml twice a day for 2 weeks after food. Mainly to releive inflammation and itching.
4. Manjishta capsules 1-0-1 after food - detoxify blood.
Follow up after 2 weeks.
- Stress may worse your condition. So be calm and move on with the plan. - Avoid tight hairstyle 🛑 Avoid scratching it worsens inflammation.
