Vata symptoms loose stools, bloating, dry skin, body aches Pitta symptoms: frequent hunger, redness on cheeks, spicy foods worsen symptoms You want balance without gaining weight. Here’s a simple Ayurvedic approach Triphala Churna 1 tsp with warm water at night (helps regulate Vata and digestion) Amla (Indian gooseberry) powder or juice 1 tsp in morning (balances Pitta, mild on digestion) Guduchi (Giloy) small dose only ½ tsp powder, skip if bloating worsens Avoid Avipattikar, Kamdudha, Sutshekhar if they give bloating or constipation Diet Guidelines Eat small, warm, cooked meals Include moist, lightly spiced foods (like kichdi, soups, dal) Avoid excess spicy, oily, fried, and heavy foods Drink warm water throughout the day Avoid raw salads, cold foods, and very dry snacks

Your symptoms clearly show a Pitta dominant Vata imbalance in the gut. There is excess heat causing loose stools and redness, along with Vata dryness leading to bloating and body aches. The difficulty you faced with medicines indicates that your system is sensitive and reactive, so treatment has to be gentle and well-balanced. Start with Bilva churna ½ tsp twice daily after food to stabilize loose stools without increasing heat. Add Shatavari churna ½ tsp with milk at night to cool Pitta and nourish tissues without aggravating digestion. For bloating, take Hingvashtak churna a pinch with meals, not more, as excess can increase heat. Avoid strong Pitta-reducing or detox medicines for now, as they are aggravating Vata in your case. Focus more on diet correction. Eat warm, soft, slightly oily food. Include rice, moong dal, ghee, boiled vegetables, and buttermilk with a pinch of roasted cumin. Avoid spicy, sour, fried food, and also avoid raw salads and cold foods. Maintain regular meal timings, do not skip meals, and avoid overeating even if hunger is frequent. Small, timely meals will stabilize both doshas. With this approach, stools become more formed, bloating reduces, and skin symptoms settle gradually over 2–3 weeks without causing weight gain.

●Garlic and Trikatu Agni Stimulation - Garlic and Trikatu 1 teaspoon garlic powder + 1/2 teaspoon Trikatu + a pinch of rock salt (Trikatu = ginger, black pepper + long pepper) Take before meals – it stimulates Agni and enhances detoxification. This thermogenic blend has been scientifically proven to increase metabolism.Herbal Mix An ancient yet powerful combination: 1 garlic clove + 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder + a pinch of rock salt (trikatu) + 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Consume before meals. This entire mixture activates the liver and improves the quality of agni (fire) and rasa dhatu (water).Drink it. Bay Leaf - Aura of Fire Add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed bay leaf to a cup of hot water, cover, and let it steep for a while. This is good for people with phlegm. The cineole and pinene in bay leaves stimulate gastric juices. ●Ingredients (equal amounts) Dried ginger - digestive, Aam hara (aam hara) Beneficial Pippali - digestive booster, digestive stimulant Dried curry leaves - digestive juice stimulant Celery - anti-flatulence, gas-relieving Black pepper - anti-phlegm and aam-relieving Cumin - digestive supporter, asafoetida - excellent anti-flatulence Make a fine powder of all and store it safely. ●Classical method of consumption Do Take 5 grams of powder, mix in a little cow’s ghee, and a pinch of rock salt. Consume with the first bite of food. Taking it with the first bite directly signals the digestive fire.

Hello, You are dealing with a pitta-dominant vata imbalance in the gut - so treatment must cool pitta+ stabilize vata + strengthen digestion without drying or overheating You reactions to medicines clearly shows -too cooling / heavy-> bloating and mucus -too pitta reducing strongly-> weak digestion-> vata aggravation So the approach must be gentle, balanced, and gut-focused Treatment principles -calm pitta (heat, redness, loose stools) -ground vata (bloating, dryness, irregularity) -support agni (without overheating suppressing) Internal medications 1) Kutajarishta= 10 ml + equal water after meals =best for loose stools + pitta in intestines 2) Dhanwantharam gulika= 1 tab at bedtime =reduces vata (bloating, body ache, dryness) 3) Drakshadi kashaya= 15ml + water mroning empty stomach =mild pitta cooling + supports digestion without heaviness Avoid for now (based on your reaction) -Avipattikar -> too reducing-> increase vata -kamdudha/ sutsekhar-> too cooling-> bloating -giloy-> drying-> worsens vata Diet most important -warm, soft, slightly oily food -moong dal khichdi with ghee ideal -rice + cooked vegetables bottle gourd, pumpkin, carrot -small amount of ghee daily very important for vata Avoid completely -spicy, fried, sour foods -raw salads major bloating trigger -curd especially at night -tea/coffee on empty stomach -excess pulses chana, rajma Add small ghee + mild spices (jeera, fennel ) = prevents both pitta aggravation and vata bloating Home remedies -Morning= warm water + few soaked raisins -After meals= chew fennel seeds -If bloating= warm water sip therapy Lifestyle -eat at fixed times (very important for vata) -don’t skip meals (your frequent hunger= pitta ) -sleep before 11 pm -avoid stress/ overthinking (directly worsens vata gut) Timeline -1-2 weeks= loose stools improve -3-4 weeks= bloating reduces -6-8 weeks= proper balance Important Insight (why you’re stuck ) You’re oscillating between -Too cooling-> weak digestion-> vata increase (bloating) -Too reducing->dryness-> vata increase So the solution is not strong medicine, but mild + consistent gut correction Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

Suffering from Pitta type foul smelling loose motion, not watery.Slight bloating. If i eat something spicy then discomfort in upper abdomen & feeling of acidity, increased bloating ,loose motion. Dull & dry skin with redness on skin.Tried eating watermelon for cooling but bloating increased severely.Looks like vata is also disturbed.

To balance your Pita dominant vata condition we have to focus on snehana and Deepana - panchana 1) Dadimadi Ghritam- 1 tsp Warm water before breakfast 2) Mustarishtam- 20 ml+20 ml water after lunch and dinner 3) Dhanwantharam Kwath- 15 ml+ 45 ml lukewarm water before dinner 4) Kalyanaka Ghritam- 1 tsp Warm milk/water at bed time Do’s Eat freshly cooked, warm meals. Dry snacks (like crackers or popcorn) will aggravate the Vata bloating and dry skin. Opt for old rice, red rice, or oats. These are easy on the gut. Focus on bottle gourd (Lauki), ridge gourd (Turai), and pumpkin. They are cooling for Pitta but hydrating for Vata. Use small amounts of Cow Ghee. Ghee is the best substance to pacify Pitta and Vata together without causing heaviness. Minimize chilies, black pepper, vinegar, and fermented foods (like curd or idli batter), as these trigger the “loose motion” and skin redness. Avoid salads or raw sprouts. These are very hard for a Vata-compromised gut to break down, leading to mucus and gas. Limit Coffee and tea increase both acidity (Pitta) and dryness (Vata). Apply Dhanwantharam Thailam to the body 20 minutes before bathing. This is the most effective way to treat Vata body aches and dry skin without internal medicine. Eat at the same time every day to regulate the “Frequent Hunger” (Tikshnagni). Do not skip meals. Drink CCF Tea (Cumin, Coriander, and Fennel seed water) throughout the day. It is excellent for balancing both doshas and reducing bloating.
