Yellow urine, weakness, intermittent abdominal pain, and thin stools often suggest a combination of malabsorption, chronic indigestion (Mandagni), and potential liver involvement (Yakrit). From an Ayurvedic perspective, this sounds like a classic case of Grahani (similar to IBS or malabsorption syndrome) paired with Pandu (anemia-like symptoms) or Kamala (jaundice-related symptoms). In Ayurveda, these symptoms indicate a Pitta-Vata imbalance. The “Agni” (digestive fire) is weak, leading to the formation of “Ama” (toxins). Yellow Urine: Suggests excess Pitta or bile pigments in the blood. Thin Stools & Pain: Indicates Grahani, where the intestines lose their ability to hold and digest food properly. Weakness & Sleepiness: A result of Dhatu Kshaya (depletion of body tissues) because the food you eat isn’t being converted into energy. 1. For Digestion & Stool Consistency Bilvadi Lehyam: Take 1 tablespoon twice daily after food. This helps thicken stools and relieves abdominal cramps. 2. For Liver Support & Yellow Urine Patolakaturohinyadi Kwath: Take 15 ml mixed with 60 ml of lukewarm water, twice daily on an empty stomach (30 minutes before breakfast and dinner). This is excellent for detoxifying the liver and clearing Pitta from the urine 3. For Strength & Energy Draksharishtam: Take 20 ml with an equal quantity of water, twice daily after meals. This improves digestion and helps overcome chronic weakness and lethargy.
