Fungal infection in groin and under breast for 2 months means moisture + sweat + incomplete treatment is the main cause. Internal medicines alone are usually not enough — local care is most important. What to do: Keep area dry at all times: After bath, dry properly (you can even use a cool hair dryer) Wear loose cotton clothes Avoid tight or synthetic innerwear Stop oil/creams in that area (they increase moisture). Use dusting: Apply antifungal dusting powder 2–3 times daily Bath: Use mild antifungal soap once daily. Medicines: Gandhak rasayan – continue 1 tablet twice daily Arogyavardhini vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food These support from inside. 👉 Very important: If itching/redness persists, you may need a proper antifungal cream (allopathic) for 2–3 weeks. Ayurveda + local antifungal works best in such cases. Avoid sugar, bakery, and excess curd during this time. With proper dryness + treatment, it usually improves in 2–3 weeks. Groin aur under-breast fungal infection 2 months se chal raha hai, to sirf internal medicines se jaldi control mushkil hota hai. Isme local care sabse important hai. Simple Ayurvedic advice Cleanliness (most important) Area ko hamesha dry rakhein (pasina na rehne dein) Cotton loose underwear/ bra use karein Din me 2–3 baar kapda change karein agar sweating ho External treatment (bahut zaroori) Neem water se wash karein (din me 1–2 baar) Neem oil ya coconut oil + kapoor (very little) laga sakte hain Powder: neem powder ya multani mitti lightly use karein to keep dry Gandhaka Rasayana theek hai fungal ke liye Arogyavardhini Vati liver support deti hai, lekin long-term bina supervision ke na lein Homeopathy + Ayurveda mix kar rahe ho to over-treatment ho sakta hai, lekin fungal infection me main cure topical care hota hai Agar itching/redness spread ho rahi hai ya 2–3 weeks me improvement nahi, to dermatologist se antifungal cream (clotrimazole/terbinafine) lena zaroori ho jata hai
Continue both gandhak rasayan and arogyavrdhini vati …Also add: 1.Khadirarishta 20 ml with 20 ml water twice daily after meals 2.Mahamanjisthadi kwath 15 ml with 15 ml wtaer twice daily after meals 3.Neem taila + tankan bhasma- apply twice daily Use neem water for cleansing. Stop Immediately:----- Curd (Dahi) & Fermented Food: Idli, Dosa, pickles, and vinegar. These increase Kledaa (moisture/stickiness) in the skin. Sugar & Sweets: High blood sugar levels help fungus grow faster. Spicy & Oily Food: This increases Pitta and makes the itching worse. Include:----- Bitter Foods: Karela (Bitter gourd), Methi seeds, and Neem tea. Cotton Clothing: Wear only loose, breathable cotton innerwear. Change them twice a day if you sweat.
Hello, Fungal infections in the groin (Tinea Cruris) and under the breast (Intertrigo) are viewed in Ayurveda as Kustha or Kshudra Kustha, primarily involving an imbalance of Kapha and Pitta, which leads to the accumulation of Kleda (moisture/toxins) in skin folds. Since you are already taking internal medications like Arogyavardhini Vati and Gandhak Rasayana, the focus should shift toward potent external applications and blood purification to break the 2-month cycle. Take Khadirarishthams (20 ml) mixed with an equal amount of lukewarm water, twice daily after food. This is the gold standard for persistent skin fungal issues as it acts as a “Kustha-gna” (destroyer of skin disease). External Application: Apply Psoria Oil over the affected areas 30 minutes before bathing. It contains Wrightia tinctoria which is highly effective against fungal pathogens. Use Nimbadi Kwath (made by boiling Nimbadi Churnam in water) to wash the affected areas. Ensure the area is bone-dry after washing, as moisture feeds the fungus. If itching is severe at night, apply Eladi Keratailam thinly over the area. Crucial Protocol for Success Fungi thrive in the “groin and under-breast” environment because of sweat. Use a plain dusting powder or soft cotton cloth to keep these areas dry throughout the day. Wear only loose, 100% cotton underwear and clothing. Avoid synthetic fabrics or tight jeans until the lesions clear completely. Avoid curd, fermented foods (Idli/Dosa), excess salt, and jaggery for the next 15 days, as these increase “Kleda” and worsen fungal growth.
