Recurring ringworm (Dadru) in Ayurveda is mainly due to Kapha-Pitta imbalance + Rakta dushti (impure blood). Repeated infection happens when only external creams are used but internal purification is not done. Rx 1. Internal Medicines (root treatment) Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food Gandhak Rasayan – 1 tablet twice daily Khadirarishta – 15–20 ml with equal water after meals These help purify blood, reduce fungal tendency, and prevent recurrence. 2. External Application Apply Neem oil + Turmeric (Haldi) paste or Use Karanj oil (Pongamia oil) on affected areas twice daily Keep area clean, dry, and sweat-free. 3. Hygiene & Lifestyle (very important) Avoid tight clothes and sweating Do not share towels/clothes Wash and sun-dry innerwear daily Avoid scratching (spreads infection) 4. Diet (Pathya–Apathya) Avoid: Curd, sugar, bakery, fried food, non-veg, excess salty/spicy food Take: Neem leaves (if possible), turmeric milk Light, easily digestible food
