Fibroadenoma, often referred to as “breast mice” because of their mobility, is frequently categorized in Ayurveda under Granthi Roga. The fact that the size fluctuates with your menstrual cycle indicates a strong hormonal connection, likely involving Vata and Kapha doshas. In Ayurveda, this is often seen as a blockage in the Rasa and Mamsa Dhatu (lymph and muscle tissues). Since you are underweight, the treatment must focus on balancing the hormones and clearing the “Granthi” (lump) without further depleting your body’s strength. I have prescribed medications for you take them consistently and you will see results Do’s:✅ • Warm Compresses: Use a warm (not hot) compress on the breast when you feel tenderness before your period. • Increase Healthy Fats: Since you are underweight and low-carb, include Ghee, walnuts, and soaked almonds to support healthy hormone production. • Castor Oil Pack: Applying a cloth soaked in warm castor oil over the area for 20 minutes (2-3 times a week, but not during your period) can improve lymphatic drainage. • Yoga: Practice Marjariasana (Cat-Cow pose) and Dhanurasana (Bow pose) to improve circulation to the chest and pelvic regions. Don’ts:❌ • Excessive Caffeine: Reduce tea, coffee, and chocolate, especially 7 days before your period, as caffeine is known to aggravate breast tenderness. • Cold Foods: Avoid very cold drinks or frozen foods, as they increase Vata and can lead to more discomfort. • Tight Clothing: Avoid restrictive undergarments, especially when the size increases before your period.
