Managing your H. Pylori infection and the associated stomach pain involves a holistic approach rooted in Ayurveda. This approach not only aims to alleviate symptoms but also to harmonize the imbalances within your body. The discomfort you’re experiencing might be due to an aggravated Pitta dosha, which tends to cause conditions like burning sensations, indigestion, and disturbances in sleep.

First, let’s focus on aligning your diet with your sensitivity to certain foods. Since vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, bitter gourd, and green leafy vegetables are troubling, you might want to rely on milder options. Opt for cooked, easy-to-digest foods such as zucchini, squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes. These are gentler on the stomach and don’t aggravate Pitta. Remember, avoiding spicy, oily, and very sour foods can also be beneficial; they tend to worsen the inflamed state of the stomach lining.

In terms of herbal remedies, consider integrating Amla (Indian gooseberry) into your routine. It is cooling and can help in soothing the gut’s lining. Dashmoolarishta, a traditional Ayurvedic formulation, can also aid digestion and calm the aggravated Pitta. Simply take about 10-15ml diluted in an equal amount of water after your meals.

Additionally, incorporate Trikatu churna, a blend of three spices (black pepper, long pepper, and ginger), in a small pinch to assist in rekindling the digestive fire, or Agni, which could be dulled due to the infection. It’s important to use this cautiously and consult an Ayurveda practicioner, especially since it might not be suitable if your Pitta is highly aggravated.

Drinking lukewarm water with a touch of honey in the morning can also be supportive. It acts gently as a detoxifier to aid the body’s natural processes. Ensuring you have a good sleep hygiene routine—like maintaining a regular sleep schedule and avoiding screens an hour before bed—can promote better sleep, which might aid recovery.

In situations where you experience severe symptoms or notice no improvement, consulting with a healthcare professional promptly is crucial. Ayurveda offers many wonderful solutions, but sometimes, traditional medical intervention is essential. Balance and moderation will assist you on your recovery journey.
