I am someone who believes Ayurveda isn’t just some old system — it’s alive, and actually still works when you use it the way it's meant to be used. My practice mostly revolves around proper Ayurvedic diagnosis (rogi & roga pariksha types), Panchakarma therapies, and ya also a lot of work with herbal medicine — not just prescribing but sometimes preparing stuff myself when needed. I really like that hands-on part actually, like knowing where the herbs came from and how they're processed... changes everything. One of the things I pay a lot of attention to is how a person's lifestyle is playing into their condition. Food, sleep, bowel habits, even small emotional patterns that people don't even realize are affecting their digestion or immunity — I look at all of it before jumping to treatment. Dietary therapy isn’t just telling people to eat less fried food lol. It’s more about timing, combinations, seasonal influence, and what suits their prakriti. That kind of detail takes time, and sometimes patients don’t get why it matters at first.. but slowly it clicks. Panchakarma — I do it when I feel it's needed. Doesn’t suit everyone all the time, but in the right case, it really clears the stuck layers. But again, it's not magic — people need to prep properly and follow instructions. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. I also try to keep things simple, like I don’t want patients feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with 10 things at once. We go step by step — sometimes slow, sometimes quick depending on the case. There’s no “one protocol fits all” in Ayurveda and frankly I get bored doing same thing again and again. Whether it’s a fever that won’t go or long-term fatigue or gut mess — I usually go deep into what's behind it. Surface-level fixes don’t last. I rather take the time than rush into wrong herbs. It’s more work, ya, but makes a diff in long run.

Oral treatment - 1) shwas kasa chintamani ras 2 tab twice a day after food 2) SYP. Shwasi 4 tsf twice a day after food 3) haridrakhand 1 tsf HS 4) tab mansmittravati 1 tab at sleeping time 5) giloyghan vati 2 tab twice a day after meal 6) nasya with brahmi taila in mrng ( 2-3 drops of oil in both nostrils and inhale , when something comes in throat just spitt it at every time) then do Luke warm water gargles. 7) steam inhalation with tincture benzoin daily for atleast 10 days

From what you described -you get breathlessness very quickly while walking or doing small work -you depend on inhaler for relief -dust, perfumes, and strong smells trigger sneezing and difficulty in breathing -fatigue and weakness come easily

In modern medicine, this is usually called Allergic asthma/chronic airway hypersensitivity

In Ayurveda, this matches Tamaka Shwaas, a condition caused by kapha (phlegm/mucus) blocking the airways and vata becoming disturbed, leading to -breathlessness -wheezing -sneezing -chest tightness -weakness

TREATMENT GOALS -reduce frequency and severity of attacks -decrease dependence on inhaler - gradually not suddenly -strengthen lung capacity and immunity -balance kapha and vata dosha -prevent triggers- dust, cold, perfume, heavy food -improve digestion and metabolism -because weak digestion increases mucus formation

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) SHITOPALADI CHURNA + TALISADI CHURNA= 2gm each with honey twice daily =clears mucus, reduces cough and sneezing, improves breathing, reduces breathlessness

2) YASHTIMADHU POWDER= 1/2 tsp with warm water twice daily =soothes airway lining, reduces irritation

3) KANTAKAR AVALEHA= 2 tsp daily in mornnig =improves lung strength, immunity booster

4) HARIDRA (turmeric) with BLACK PEPPER in warm milk at night =anti allergic, reduces airway inflammation

DURATION= at least 2-3 mnoths for noticeable improvement

EXTERNALLY

1) STEAM INHALATION= with tulsi leaves/ajwain seeds daily =opens blocked airways

2) NASYA= 2 drops of Anu taila in each nostril daily morning =lubricates airways, reduces allergy response

3) CHEST MASSAGE= with warm mustard oil before bath 2-3 times/week =relieves chest tightness

HOME REMEDIES -Tulsi + giner + honey decoction once daily -black pepper powder with honey-1/2 tsp once daily -warm water sip sip throughout the day -garlic boiled in milk at night occasionally for lung strength -clove chewing helps in throat irritation

Don’t use mosquito repellents and insecticides if it is causing cough.

आपने जो बताया, उसके अनुसार -चलते या छोटा-मोटा काम करते समय आपको बहुत जल्दी साँस फूलने लगती है -आप राहत के लिए इनहेलर पर निर्भर रहते हैं -धूल, परफ्यूम और तेज़ गंध से छींक और साँस लेने में तकलीफ़ होती है -थकान और कमज़ोरी आसानी से आ जाती है

आधुनिक चिकित्सा में, इसे आमतौर पर एलर्जिक अस्थमा/क्रोनिक एयरवे हाइपरसेंसिटिविटी कहा जाता है

आयुर्वेद में, यह ताम्र श्वास से मिलता-जुलता है, जो कफ (कफ/बलगम) के कारण वायुमार्ग अवरुद्ध होने और वात के बिगड़ने के कारण होता है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप -साँस फूलना -घरघराहट -छींक आना -सीने में जकड़न -कमज़ोरी

आंतरिक औषधियाँ

1) शीतोपलादि चूर्ण + तालीसादि चूर्ण = 2 ग्राम प्रत्येक शहद के साथ दिन में दो बार =बलगम साफ़ करता है, खांसी और छींक कम करता है, साँस लेने में सुधार करता है, साँस फूलने की समस्या कम करता है

2) यष्टिमधु चूर्ण = आधा चम्मच गर्म पानी के साथ दिन में दो बार =श्वसन नली की परत को आराम देता है, जलन कम करता है

3) कंटकार अवलेह = सुबह 2 चम्मच प्रतिदिन =फेफड़ों की शक्ति बढ़ाता है, रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाता है

4) रात में गर्म दूध में काली मिर्च के साथ हरिद्र (हल्दी) =एलर्जीरोधी, श्वास नली की सूजन कम करता है

अवधि = ध्यान देने योग्य सुधार के लिए कम से कम 2-3 महीने

बाहरी रूप से

1) भाप लेना = तुलसी के पत्तों/अजवाइन के बीजों के साथ प्रतिदिन =अवरुद्ध श्वास नली को खोलता है

2) नस्य = प्रतिदिन सुबह प्रत्येक नथुने में अणु तेल की 2 बूँदें =चिकनाई प्रदान करता है वायुमार्गों में जलन कम करता है, एलर्जी की प्रतिक्रिया को कम करता है

3) छाती की मालिश = नहाने से पहले गर्म सरसों के तेल से सप्ताह में 2-3 बार = सीने की जकड़न से राहत

घरेलू उपचार - तुलसी + अदरक + शहद का काढ़ा दिन में एक बार - शहद के साथ काली मिर्च पाउडर - दिन में एक बार आधा चम्मच - दिन भर घूंट-घूंट करके गर्म पानी लें - फेफड़ों की मजबूती के लिए कभी-कभी रात में दूध में उबाला हुआ लहसुन लें - लौंग चबाने से गले की जलन में आराम मिलता है

आहार - गर्म पानी, हर्बल चाय - मूंग दाल, लौकी, कद्दू, तुरई - अदरक, लहसुन, हल्दी - कच्चा शहद, लेकिन कभी गर्म न करें

इनसे बचें - ठंडा पानी, आइसक्रीम, शीतल पेय - रात में दही, पनीर, पनीर - तले हुए, भारी तेल वाले भोजन - बेकरी उत्पाद, फास्ट फूड - धूम्रपान, शराब

जीवनशैली और योग - धूल, धुएं, इत्र, ठंडी हवा के संपर्क में आने से बचें - घर को साफ रखें, धूल मुफ़्त

प्राणायाम -अनुलोम विलोम = वात को संतुलित करता है -भ्रामरी = मन को शांत करता है, वक्ष को खोलता है -कपालभाति = बलगम साफ़ करता है

योग आसन -भुजंगासन -मत्स्यासन -अर्ध मत्स्येन्द्रासन -सेतु बंधासन

आवश्यक जाँचें -स्पाइरोमेट्री/पल्मोनरी फंक्शन टेस्ट - फेफड़ों की क्षमता का आकलन करने के लिए -एलर्जी परीक्षण -छाती का एक्स-रे

Aapki breathing ki problem aur fatigue ka reason sambhavit roop se dosha imbalance ho sakta hai, yeh main respiratory system ka imbalance dikhata hai. Aasthma ya kisi bhi respiratory distress ko rule out karna zaroori hai, toh kisi competent healthcare professional se consult karein. Ab kuch ayurvedic sujhaav jo aap ghar pe apna sakte hain.

Pehla, apni diet par focus karein. Khane mein tulsi patta ka churna ya tulsi chai ko shamil karein. Yeh vaata aur kapha vitiation ko balance karne mein madadgar hoti hai. Thoda adrak aur shahad bhi include kar sakte hain, yeh bronchodilator ki tarah kaam kar sakta hai.

Dusra, pranayama exercises daily routine mein shamil karein. Anulom-Vilom aur Bhramari prakriya aapki breathing aur vitals yojana ko improve karne mein help karega. Early morning ke samay 15-20 minute ka samay in exercises mein lagayein. Yeh aapki fatigue ko kam karne ka kaam karega.

After that I moved to Instant Aushadhalya—an online Ayurveda hospital setup. Whole different space. Consultations online ain’t easy at first—no pulse reading, no direct Nadi check—but you learn to ask the right things, look at patient’s tone, habit patterns, timing of symptoms... and yeah it actually works, sometimes even better than in person. Right now I’m working as an Ayurveda consultant at Digvijayam Clinic where I’m focusing more on individualised care. Most ppl come here with stress-related problems, digestion issues, joint pain, that kind of mix. I go by classic diagnosis principles like prakriti analysis, dosha imbalance and all, but also mix in what I learned from modern side—like understanding their lifestyle triggers, screen time, sleep cycles, food gaps n stress patterns. I don’t rush into panchakarma or heavy medicines unless it’s needed... prefer starting with simple herbs, diet change, basic daily routine correction. If things demand, then I go stepwise into Shodhan therapies. My goal is to not just “treat” but to help ppl know what’s happening in their body and why its reacting like that. That awareness kinda becomes half the cure already. Not everything is perfect. Sometimes ppl don’t follow what you say, sometimes results are slow, and yeah that gets to you. But this path feels honest. It’s slow, grounded, and meaningful.
