Usually, at 25 years, the natural bone growth plates (epiphyseal plates) are already closed, therefore, it is not medically possible to increase height by 2–3 inches — not by Ayurveda or any other system.
On the other hand, Ayurveda has the power to change one’s posture, make the bones stronger, increase the muscle mass, and give one more self-confidence. Sometimes people may even assume that the person has grown taller.
You being underweight may imply that: –Your Agni (digestive fire) is low –Vata is dominating –You have poor nutrient absorption (Dhatu Kshaya) –Low levels of muscle and fat tissue (Mamsa & Meda Dhatu alpata)

1. Ashwagandha Churna 3 g (½ tsp) twice daily With warm milk Or one tablet twice daily
(By promoting muscle mass, one of the excellent side effects of this herb is stress reduction and overall-strength improvement)
2. Shatavari Kalpa 1 tsp warm milk twice daily Rejuvenates reproductive tissues and brings general nourishment of the body.
3. Chyawanprash 1 tsp every morning Immune system, digestion and body weight are all improved by this superfood.
4. Drakshasava 15 ml with equal water after lunch and dinner Good appetite and digestion are the effects.
👉For Bone Strength & Posture (Height Appearance)
The following medicines may lead to an improvement in one’s stance and thus to a certain extent spinal strength, although real height will not be changed:
1.Hadjod (Cissus quadrangularis) Tablet once daily By helping the bones to become denser and also by reduction of Vata, it is one of the best anti-arthritic drugs.
2. Dashmoolarishta 15 ml with water after meal Works well to muscle strengthening as well as being a great anti-fatigue agent.
DIET PLAN
Include
Cow ghee (1–2 tsp daily) Milk, curd, paneer, ghee Soaked almonds, dates, and figs Mung dal khichdi Rice + ghee Sweet potatoes, potatoes Banana shake (only during the day) Dal + rice + ghee mixture Jaggery + ghee after lunch (½ tsp each)
Avoid
Skip meals Drink cold beverages Tea/coffee more than 3 times a day Have raw salads at night Eat late at night Weight Gain & Better Posture Lifestyle Sleep 7–8 hours Oil massage with sesame oil twice a week
Yoga: Bhujangasana Tadasana Chakrasana Surya Namaskar (mild)
All of these postures are helpful in body alignment, and you may look taller.
