The gnawing vibrating sensation in the middle of your head behind the nose and right cheek along with occasional dizziness and blurry vision can be seen in Ayurveda as an imbalance of vata and pitta affecting the nerves and circulation in the head and face but from a modern perspective it could indicate sinus congestion inflammation of cranial nerves migraine vascular disturbances or other neurological issues it is very important to first undergo proper evaluation by an ENT and neurologist MRI or CT scan of brain and sinuses and eye check to rule out serious causes until a diagnosis is confirmed gentle Ayurvedic support can help calm the nervous system and improve tissue nourishment

Internally Ashwagandha churna half teaspoon with warm milk,at night, helps in balancing vata and supporting nervous system and reducing anxiety and stress which may aggravate sensations.

Brahmi vati -twice daily with warm water helps in improving circulation in the head and enhancing clarity of vision and calming the mind.

Shankhpushpi syrup ten ml twice daily helps in supporting nerve health improving concentration and reducing vertigo and giddiness

Triphala churna 1 teaspoon at night with lukewarm water helps in gentle detoxification and maintaining proper digestion and metabolic balance which indirectly supports tissue health

warm compresses on the affected area and daily practice of pranayama and meditation will help in calming the nervous system avoidexposure to allergens maintain regular sleeppatterns and avoid sudden changes in posture or head position will further support balance of vata and pitta in the head and face

Hello 🙏

Thank you for explaining your symptoms clearly. Because your symptoms are persistent (>6 months) and include blurry vision + dizziness, this needs careful evaluation, not guesswork. I’ll explain this in simple terms, then give possible causes, warning signs, and safe next steps (including Ayurvedic perspective).

🔍 Key symptoms you described - Gnawing pain deep in the middle of head behind nose - Pain radiating to right cheek - Vibrating / moving sensation in head & cheek - Worse when lying down or sitting - Dizziness - Blurry vision Chronic (>6 months) Allergic background This pattern suggests a deep nerve / pressure-related issue, not a simple sinus or muscle pain.

🧠 Possible causes (most likely → less likely) 1️⃣ Trigeminal nerve irritation / neuralgia (atypical type) Trigeminal nerve supplies nose bridge, cheek, eye area Can cause: - Deep gnawing pain - Vibration / crawling sensation - Facial discomfort without visible swelling - Often worsens in resting position

2️⃣ Sphenoid sinusitis (often missed) - This sinus is deep behind the nose, pain is felt inside the head, not nose blockage. Symptoms: - Pain behind eyes / nose - Head pressure - Blurry vision - Worse when lying down Normal nasal exam sometimes

⚠️ Regular sinus X-ray often misses this

3️⃣ Vestibular migraine / silent migraine Even without headache, it can cause: - Head vibration feeling - Facial pain - Dizziness - Visual blurring - Normal stress levels (not always stress-triggered)

4️⃣ Cervical nerve or posture-related nerve compression Sitting or lying makes symptoms worse May cause head vibration + vision disturbance Often missed unless posture is evaluated

5️⃣ Less common but important to rule out (Not to scare you, but to be responsible) Intracranial pressure imbalance Demyelinating or nerve compression conditions

🚨 RED FLAGS – please do not ignore Because you have: ✔️ Symptoms > 6 months ✔️ Blurry vision ✔️ Dizziness ✔️ Deep central head pain 👉 You MUST get imaging, preferably: MRI Brain + Paranasal sinuses ENT + Neurology opinion This is important even if pain is tolerable.

🌿 Ayurvedic understanding (for explanation) This fits mainly: Vata prakopa in Shiras (head) Involvement of Majja dhatu and Prana Vata Allergic tendency suggests Kapha-Vata dushti

Ayurveda considers this not a superficial disease, so oils or tablets alone are not enough.

🌿 What you can do NOW (safe steps) ✅ Lifestyle (very important) Avoid: Late nights Excess screen time Cold exposure to head Sleep with: Head slightly elevated Avoid lying flat during pain episodes

✅ Gentle home measures (until diagnosis) Warm sesame oil: apply on scalp & behind ears (daily) Steam inhalation (plain water only) once daily Avoid strong perfumes, dust, allergens

❌ Avoid for now Nasal sprays without diagnosis Strong painkillers daily Self-medicating neurological medicines

Aggressive Panchakarma without imaging

📌 What I strongly recommend next Please tell me: 1️⃣ Have you done CT/MRI before? 2️⃣ Any ear fullness, ringing, or jaw pain? 3️⃣ Is vision blur in one eye or both? 4️⃣ Any neck stiffness or posture issues? Based on this, I can guide you
