मैं अच्छी नींद के लिए दिव्य मेधा वटी ले रहा हूँ लेकिन मुझे बीपी की कोई समस्या नहीं है। क्या इसे लंबे समय तक लेना सुरक्षित है? मैं रात में 2 टैबलेट लेता हूँ।

Hlo,

Divya Medha Vati is mainly an Ayurvedic brain–nervine tonic. It is often prescribed for stress, anxiety, poor memory, mental fatigue, and it can indirectly improve sleep by calming the mind. Although it is sometimes suggested in BP-related conditions, having normal BP is NOT a problem for taking it.

Is it safe for long-term use? Since: You’ve been taking it less than 1 month You are taking 2 tablets at night You have no side effects Your sleep is already good 👉 Short-term use (1–2 months) is generally safe in healthy adults. 👉 Long-term continuous use (many months without break) is not advised unless guided by an Ayurvedic physician.

Important points for you Medha Vati is not a sleeping pill. If your sleep is already normal, you may not actually need it daily.

Some ingredients can have a mild BP-lowering or sedative effect, which is fine short term but unnecessary long term if there is no medical indication.

What I would suggest (safer approach) Continue 2 tablets at night for a maximum of 4–6 weeks Then either: Stop it, or Take a break of 2–3 weeks, and only restart if stress or sleep issues return If your only goal is sleep

You may shift to milder options if ever needed: - Warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg (2–3 times/week) - Brahmi tea or Shankhpushpi syrup (short course) - Fixed sleep timing + reduced screen exposure at night

When to stop immediately Stop and consult a doctor if you notice: Excessive sleepiness during the day Dizziness or low BP symptoms Heaviness in head or digestion issues
