Which leham are you taking?
Hello I get how difficult it is when you’re already dealing with bloating and constipation, and then it gets even worse after taking medicine. But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 What Ayurveda Says It sounds like you’ve got a Vata imbalance causing gas and blockage in your colon. Normally, Leham is supposed to be good for you. Though, if: –Your digestion is weak –You already have gas –Things aren’t moving in your gut –Then Leham can actually make things worse by blocking things up instead of clearing them. This leads to: –Crazy bloating above your belly button –Hard motion –Gas pressure –Feeling super heavy Also, if you’re eating a lot of fiber but your digestion isn’t great, that can also make gas and constipation worse. The fiber just becomes a burden. What We Need to Fix –Get rid of the trapped gas –Unblock your colon –Get your digestion going again –Keep it from coming back What to Do Right Away –Stop taking the Leham –It’s making things worse right now. Quick Fix for Gas and Constipation Morning (Empty Stomach) Mix: -1 tsp Castor oil -1 cup warm milk Only do this for 2–3 days → This should help you pass the hard stool and get rid of trapped gas Before Lunch & Dinner Take: Hingvashtak Churna– ½ tsp With warm water → Gets rid of gas and bloating At Bedtime Take: Triphala powder– 1 tsp In warm water → Helps you have a normal bowel movement For Ongoing Gut Issues Once the bloating goes down, start: Avipattikar Churna ½ tsp twice a day before food → Gets your digestion back to normal and stops gas DIET PLAN Don’t eat: –Raw salads –Sprouts –Oats –Apples –Bananas –Yogurt –Milk with meals –Cold drinks These things make gas worse when Vata is high. Eat –Rice –Khichdi –Steamed veggies –Ghee –Buttermilk with roasted cumin –Only eat warm, cooked food Sip warm water every 30–40 minutes. Lifestyle Tips –Don’t hold in the urge to poop or fart –Walk for 10 minutes after eating –Sleep on your left side –Don’t eat late at night It is not life-threatening, but it looks like the wrong medicine made your Vata gut worse. You’ll feel much better once the gas and blockage are gone. I’m here to help you get through this. Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate
