Ganglion cysts often return because aspiration removes fluid but not the cyst wall. Recurrence rates can be up to 40% after surgery and even higher after aspiration
Rx
1.Kanchnar guggulu 2 tab twice daily with water after meals
2.Triphala guggulu 2 tab twice daily with water after meals
3.Nirgundyadi kashyam 20 ml with 20 ml water twice daily after meals
4.Dashang lepa- mix with little water or ghee to form a paste and apply over cyst and night and wash off in the morning
5.Karpooradi tailam- apply 5-10 drops of this oil and massage gently in circular motion twice daily
**Avoid Pressure: While it may be tempting to press or “pop” the cyst (often called the “Bible Method”), this can lead to further injury, especially with your history of arthritis.
**Dietary Support: Minimize heavy, oily, and cold foods that increase Kapha. Instead, incorporate ginger and turmeric into your meals to naturally combat inflammation.
