A few months ago, a family friend’s child was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, and their family was extremely worried because they had never heard of it before. The child had a high fever, red eyes, rashes, swollen hands and feet, and cracked lips. The doctors explained that Kawasaki disease is a rare but serious inflammatory condition that affects the blood vessels, particularly in young children. Since I believe in natural immunity support and Ayurvedic healing, I want to understand—what is Kawasaki disease, and does Ayurveda offer natural ways to support vascular health and immune function in children?
