Your PCOS-related spotting may be due to hormonal imbalance, insulin resistance, or dietary changes. Fenugreek seeds usually help balance insulin levels, but in some women, they can affect estrogen-progesterone balance, possibly leading to spotting.

It's understandable you're looking to address your menstrual cycle naturally. PCOS can indeed have varied effects on the menstrual cycle. While fenugreek seeds have been traditionally used for balancing hormones and supporting overall health, it's not very likely they're causing spotting, but it is possible they might not be aligning with your body's current needs. In Ayurveda, PCOS is often associated with a Kapha and Vata imbalance. Your weight is stable, which is a positive sign, but the matter with menstrual irregularities could be linked to deeper factors like Agni (digestive fire) or stress. Allow me to offer some holistic suggestions: 1. **Dietary Adjustments**: Focus on a Pitta-pacifying diet which helps in maintaining balance as you're experiencing changes in your cycle. Include warm, cooked foods like vegetable stews, dal, and whole grains. Increase intake of fresh fruits and organic vegetables. Foods like cinnamon and turmeric can help improve your digestion and metabolism as well. 2. **Herbal Support**: Consider Shatavari or Ashwagandha, both known for their hormone balancing effects. However, it's important to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner before starting any new herb, especially if you're taking other medications like glucophage. 3. **Routine & Exercise**: Establish a routine that supports a balanced lifestyle. Gentle yoga, especially postures like Baddha Konasana or Supta Baddha Konasana, can aid the reproductive organs. Deep breathing exercises like Nadi Shodhana can also help reduce stress and balance hormones. 4. **Lifestyle**: Prioritize rest and manage stress. Practicing meditation and ensuring a consistent sleep schedule can enhance your body's natural rhythm. Stress can significantly impact hormon functions. 5. **Hydration**: Drink warm water throughout the day to support the body's cleansing processes, which can aid in reducing Kapha accumulation. Keep track of any changes, and if the spotting continues or worsens, consulting with a healthcare professional or an experienced Ayurvedic doctor is advisable to rule out other underlying causes. Remember, individual response to interventions can vary, so it's about finding what works best for you.
