Hello Pawandeep , These look like symptoms of allergic rhinitis and associated sinusitis. Is there any swelling over the face or sinuses? From an Ayurvedic perspective, your symptoms of frequent sneezing, watery nose, and difficulty in breathing suggest an imbalance of Kapha and Vata doshas, leading to Pratishyaya (allergic rhinitis) or chronic sinus congestion. The sensation of water below the nose and hair issues further indicate the presence of Ama (toxins) and weakened immune function. To manage this, practicing Jala Neti (nasal cleansing with saline water) & NASYAM under an Ayurvedic doctor’s guidance, can help clear nasal blockages. Taking Sitopaladi Churna (1/2 tsp with honey twice a day) will reduce excess mucus and soothe the respiratory tract. Trikatu Churna (a combination of ginger, black pepper, and long pepper) can aid digestion and reduce Kapha buildup. Additionally, inhaling steam with a few drops of Eucalyptus oil will relieve nasal congestion. Avoid cold, heavy, and dairy foods that aggravate Kapha. Including warm, light meals and sipping on ginger tea can be beneficial. Regular practice of Anulom Vilom Pranayama will strengthen your respiratory system.

It sounds like what you're experiencing could be related to an imbalance in your body's doshas, particularly with the Kapha dosha, which governs the respiratory system, sinuses and can lead to symptoms like excess mucus production. Since Kapha is associated with heaviness and cold, it's important to counter these qualities with warmth and lightness. First off, let's address your breathing discomfort. To help with this, consider incorporating steam inhalation into your daily routine. Boil water and inhale the steam – you can add eucalyptus oil, as it can help clear up nasal passages. Try to do this in the evening and again in the morning after waking up when your symptoms are most prominent. In terms of diet, opt for warm, cooked meals instead of cold or raw foods, which can aggravate Kapha. Spices like ginger, black pepper, and turmeric act as natural decongestants and can be easily added to your meals. Avoid dairy products as they tend to increase mucus production, especially in sensitive individuals. Your morning congestion could also be influenced by your sleeping environment. Ensure your bedroom is well-ventilated and dust-free, to avoid any irritants that might be contributing to your symptoms. A nasal cleansing process, known as Jala Neti, where you use a saline solution to rinse the nasal passage, may provide relief. Ensure to learn the technique properly, so it doesn't cause any harm. For the issue with your hair, this could be linked to overall body inflammation and stress. A daily head massage using warm sesame or coconut oil can help nourish the scalp and calm the mind. While doing so, take deep breaths to relax your whole system. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it would be wise to consult a healthcare professional to rule out any allergies or sinus issues that might require more immediate attention. Always ensure you adapt these suggestions to fit within your lifestyle and comfort.
