sure, keeping an eye on cholesterol and liver health is really important, especially as we age. let’s talk about some ayurvedic remedies that could be helpful for your parents.

for lowering cholesterol, arjuna is a fantastic herb. it’s known for supporting heart health and managing cholesterol levels. you could use arjuna in powdered form, maybe about one teaspoon twice daily with warm water. but it would be wise to check with an expert based on any existing conditions.

now, for liver health, there’s the ever-reliable neem and turmeric. neem has cleansing properties while turmeric is famous for its anti-inflammatory benefits. mixing them might be a bit intense taste-wise… but their benefits are undeniable… try about half teaspoon of each with warm water on empty stomach, first thing in the morning, it’s pretty effective!

besides herbs, lifestyle changes are a key. exercise should be moderate but regular—a simple 30-minute walk can be amazing. additionally, practicing yoga or pranayama strengthens overall vitality, hence improving liver function.

also, diet is important—foods that are lighter and easy to digest aid your liver. consider incorporating leafy greens, beets, and bitter gourds. avoiding deep-fried fatty foods helps as well. warm water or herbal teas throughout the day can support detoxification naturally.

oh and about cholesterol, guggul is another herb that’s kinda useful. it’s traditionally used to help balance the lipid levels. you might find it as a supplement but, again, make sure it’s the right choice for them by consulting a professional.

and, honestly, too much stress can harm the liver. making time for relaxation and doing things they enjoy goes a long way.

remember that any significant signs or symptoms require immediate medical attention to rule out serious problems. balance is the key—don’t overdo anything. hoping these tips sow some positive results for your parents’ health journey!
