To address the issue of premature ejaculation, Ayurveda looks at balancing doshas, enhancing vitality, and improving mental focus. It’s important to consider various lifestyle, dietary, and herbal solutions that can gently support your condition.

First, focus on your lifestyle. Reducing stress and anxiety is crucial, as these can be significant underlying factors contributing to early ejaculation. Incorporate practices like Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation daily, these can improve your mental focus and reduce performance anxiety. Regular physical exercise, especially yoga, can help in improving circulation and promoting calmness.

In terms of diet, emphasize a diet that enhances your body’s vitality or ojas. Include foods such as almonds, walnuts, ghee, and milk. These nourishes your body and may improve stamina. Consider adding ginger and garlic to your meals for their warming properties. Additionally, avoid excessive consumption of caffeine, sugar, and processed foods which may aggravate Vata dosha.

Ayurvedic herbs such as Ashwagandha and Shatavari are often recommended to support sexual health. Ashwagandha may contribute to reducing stress, while Shatavari can help enhance vitality. An ideal way to take these herbs is in powder form with warm milk, but consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized dosage and combinations.

Building regularity in your daily routine helps, have meals at consistent times and ensure adequate rest with 7-8 hours of sleep each night. This will help not only on physical level but to calm your mind as well.

Finally, it’s important to have open communication with your partner about your concerns. Sometimes, emotional barriers also contribute to such issues. If you find that these measures aren’t helping, or the problem persists, consider consulting a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized evaluation. They can provide more specific recommendations based on your unique needs.

Dr. Khushboo
I am someone who kinda started out in both worlds—Ayurveda and allopathy—and that mix really shaped how I see health today. My clinical journey began with 6 months of hands-on allopathic exposure at District Hospital Sitapur. Honestly, that place was intense. Fast-paced, high patient flow, constant cases of chronic and acute illnesses coming through. That taught me a lot about how to see disease. Not just treat it, but like… notice the patterns, get better at real-time diagnosis, really listen to what the patient isn’t saying out loud sometimes. It gave me this sharper sense of clinical grounding which I think still stays with me. Then I moved more deeply into Ayurveda and spent another 6 months diving into clinical training focused on Panchakarma therapies. Stuff like Abhyanga, Basti, Shirodhara—learned those not just as a list of techniques, but how and when to use 'em, especially for detox and deep healing. Every case felt like a different puzzle. There wasn’t always one right answer, you know? And that’s where I found I loved adapting protocols based on what the person actually needed, not just what the textbook says. Alongside that, I got certified in Garbha Sanskar through structured training. That really pulled me closer to maternal health. Pregnancy support through Ayurveda isn’t just about herbs or massage, it’s like this entire way of guiding a mother-to-be toward nourishing the baby right from conception—emotionally, physically, all of it. That part stuck with me hard. My overall approach? It’s kinda fluid. I believe in balancing natural therapies and evidence-based thinking. Whether it's seasonal imbalance, hormonal issues, Panchakarma detox plans, or just guiding someone on long-term wellness—I like making people feel safe, heard, and actually understood. I’m not into rushing plans or masking symptoms. I’d rather work together with someone to build something sustainable that really suits their body and where they’re at. In a way, I’m still learning every day. But my focus stays the same—use Ayurvedic wisdom practically, compassionately, and in a way that just... makes sense in real life.

I am working right now as a Consultant Ayurvedic Ano-Rectal Surgeon at Bhrigu Maharishi Ayurvedic Hospital in Nalgonda—and yeah, that name’s quite something, but what really keeps me here is the kind of cases we get. My main focus is managing ano-rectal disorders like piles (Arsha), fistula-in-ano (Bhagandara), fissure-in-ano (Parikartika), pilonidal sinus, and rectal polyps. These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That’s why I combine surgery with a whole support plan—Ayurvedic meds, diet changes, lifestyle tweaks that actually match their prakriti. Not generic stuff off a handout. Over time, I’ve seen that when people follow the whole protocol, not just the procedure part, the recurrence drops a lot. I’m quite particular about follow-up and wound care too, ‘cause we’re dealing with delicate areas here and ignoring post-op can ruin outcomes. Oh and yeah—I care a lot about educating folks too. I talk to patients in OPD, sometimes give community talks, just to tell people they do have safer options than cutting everything out under GA! I still study Shalya Tantra like it’s a living document. I try to stay updated with whatever credible advancements are happening in Ayurvedic surgery, but I filter what’s fluff and what’s actually useful. At the end of the day, my aim is to offer respectful, outcome-based care that lets patients walk out without shame or fear. That’s really what keeps me grounded in this field.

I am working in Ayurveda field from some time now, started out as a general physician at Chauhan Ayurveda Hospital in Noida. That place taught me a lot—how to handle different types of patients in OPD, those daily cases like fever, digestion issues, body pain... but also chronic stuff which keeps coming back. After that I moved to Instant Aushadhalya—an online Ayurveda hospital setup. Whole different space. Consultations online ain’t easy at first—no pulse reading, no direct Nadi check—but you learn to ask the right things, look at patient’s tone, habit patterns, timing of symptoms... and yeah it actually works, sometimes even better than in person. Right now I’m working as an Ayurveda consultant at Digvijayam Clinic where I’m focusing more on individualised care. Most ppl come here with stress-related problems, digestion issues, joint pain, that kind of mix. I go by classic diagnosis principles like prakriti analysis, dosha imbalance and all, but also mix in what I learned from modern side—like understanding their lifestyle triggers, screen time, sleep cycles, food gaps n stress patterns. I don’t rush into panchakarma or heavy medicines unless it’s needed... prefer starting with simple herbs, diet change, basic daily routine correction. If things demand, then I go stepwise into Shodhan therapies. My goal is to not just “treat” but to help ppl know what’s happening in their body and why its reacting like that. That awareness kinda becomes half the cure already. Not everything is perfect. Sometimes ppl don’t follow what you say, sometimes results are slow, and yeah that gets to you. But this path feels honest. It’s slow, grounded, and meaningful.

Dr. Ayushya Kumar Singh
I am someone who got into Ayurveda not just for treating diseases but cuz I always felt drawn to understanding why things go out of balance in the first place. My work’s rooted in classical Ayurvedic texts—I’ve spent years studying them, not just memorizing shlokas but really figuring out what they mean in today’s context. At the same time, I also use modern diagnostic stuff where needed, just to get a fuller picture. Pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha) is something I rely on a lot—it’s not easy to master but with practice, it kinda tells you what the body’s hiding, even before symptoms scream out loud. I focus mostly on chronic issues… like gut problems, fatigue, hormonal mess, skin disorders, and stress stuff that just doesn’t go away with tablets. I use herbal formulations (mostly customized), Panchakarma when needed—not in a one-size way but actually based on the person’s Prakriti and Vikriti. I also spend a good chunk of time explaining things to patients. Like why you should eat this in winter, or skip curd at night or not mix fruits with milk—little stuff people think doesn’t matter, but actually does in Ayurveda. Over time, I’ve realized people don’t just want relief, they want to understand how their body works again. That’s kinda where I feel most useful. I help patients reconnect with natural rhythms, daily routines, sleep cycles, digestion, seasons—all of it. And ya, it’s slow sometimes. But once things shift internally, you see it show up on the outside too. That’s what keeps me going honestly. Whether it’s stress or sluggish metabolism or just someone feeling “not right” without knowing why—I try to listen deep, go to the root n create a treatment path that’s realistic and sustainable. Not just ideal on paper. Healing, for me, is something we do together, not something I just hand over. I want people to feel heard n understood… and to believe their bodies can heal, with the right support. That’s what Ayurveda is to me—real, ancient, and still totally alive.

Dr. Sanchi Damodhar
I am an Ayurvedic doctor with about 3 years of hands-on experience, mainly dealing with lifestyle disorders like PCOD, weight gain, diabetes, stress, and gut stuff—like bloating or weak digestion or just that feeling something’s off. I did my BAMS coz I was really drawn toward natural healing, not just the herbs part, but how everything connects—mind, food, sleep, mood... all of it. What I really try to focus on is not just giving medicine n sending people off. I like to understand what’s behind the symptoms... like why their metabolism’s slowed down or why they keep getting acidity despite eating less. That’s where my work with diet and mindset come in. I use Ayurvedic principles, yes, but I also mix it with small practical stuff—daily routines, sleep hygiene, stress release, food planning, whatever feels doable for that person. It’s not always about detoxes or strict regimens, though sometimes that helps too. Depends, really. I’ve seen good results when people actually get that they don’t need to do huge things. Just right guidance at the right time. I try to keep things light in consultation, make people feel heard, not rushed. I genuinely like when someone says “no one explained it to me like this before” — that feels nice. My whole approach is basically trying to make health feel natural again. Nothing fancy. Just rooted in the real Ayurvedic logic and a lot of listening. And yes, there’s trial and error sometimes, every case is different. But that’s what makes it kind of real. If you're dealing with any of those everyday-but-tiring health issues, I’ll do my best to figure it out with you—not just for now, but in a way that holds up longer term.
