Dr. Manjula
I am a dedicated Ayurveda practitioner with a deep-rooted passion for restoring health through traditional Ayurvedic principles. My clinical approach revolves around understanding the unique constitution (Prakruti) and current imbalance (Vikruti) of each individual. I conduct comprehensive consultations that include Prakruti-Vikruti Pareeksha, tongue examination, and other Ayurvedic diagnostic tools to identify the underlying causes of disease, rather than just addressing symptoms. My primary focus is on balancing the doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—through individualized treatment plans that include herbal medicines, therapeutic diets, and lifestyle modifications. I believe that healing begins with alignment, and I work closely with my patients to bring the body, mind, and spirit into harmony using personalized, constitution-based interventions. Whether managing chronic conditions or guiding preventive health, I aim to empower patients through Ayurvedic wisdom, offering not just relief but a sustainable path to well-being. My practice is rooted in authenticity, guided by classical Ayurvedic texts and a strong commitment to ethical, patient-centered care. I take pride in helping people achieve long-term health outcomes by integrating ancient knowledge with a modern, practical approach. Through continuous learning and close attention to every detail in diagnosis and treatment, I strive to deliver meaningful, natural, and effective results for all my patients.

After undergoing surgery for BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia), it is understandable to want to ensure the condition doesn't recur. Ayurveda offers thoughtful post-surgical care that complements conventional procedures. It can help you to rebuild strength, balance doshas, and maintain a healthy prostate function post-operation. First, let's focus on diet, which plays a massive role in preventing recurrence. Embrace a balanced diet that's tailored to your dosha. For instance, Pitta types should avoid spicy foods that can inflame tissues. Instead, consume a diet rich in fibrous fruits and vegetables. Hydrate sufficiently with plenty of water, supporting renal and prostate function. Tulsi (holy basil), can be added to your tea, offering anti-inflammatory benefits. In terms of herbal remedies post-surgery, Ashwagandha is invaluable. It aids in energy restoration and cellular health. Shatavari, another herb, is famed for its rejuvenating properties on the reproductive system. Take about 1 teaspoon of Shatavari powder with warm milk before bedtime, unless it contraindicates any post-surgery medications or advice from your surgeon. Lifestyle changes are crucial, too. Engage in moderate exercise; Yoga asanas, especially forward bends or seated poses like Baddha Konasana, help improve blood circulation and support the pelvic area. Breathing exercises like pranayama can stimulate healthy energy flow. Since Agni (digestive fire) is central in Ayurveda, ensure it's strong by including spices like cumin and coriander in your meals. These enhance metabolism and prevent ama (toxins) accumulation that could contribute to recurrent issues. Regular follow-ups with your healthcare providers, including an Ayurvedic expert, are essential for ongoing, personalized advice. Remember, integrate Ayurvedic practices alongside prescribed care and not as a replacement for urgent or specialized medical guidance. Adhering to these recommendations will not just improve prostate health but also enhance your overall well-being.
