how to get rid of premature ejaculation - #23793

Emily

I am really struggling with this issue and I feel kinda embarrassed about it. Lately, I've been dealing with premature ejaculation, and I honestly don't know how to get rid of premature ejaculation. It’s been affecting my relationship with my partner, and we even had a conversation about it last night. I thought I was doing better after trying those breathing techniques I read online, but they only helped a little. Had a few moments where I felt like I had control, but they were pretty rare. I read somewhere about how to get rid of premature ejaculation using Ayurvedic methods, like herbs or diet changes, but it’s all pretty confusing. Like, should I try Ashwagandha, or is that too strong for this? I just wanna feel more confident without this constant worry! Anyone have tips or personal experiences on how to get rid of premature ejaculation? I am looking for solutions that actually work, or maybe some kind of remedy that you found helpful. Thanks a ton for any suggestions, really appreciate it!

It's understandable to feel concerned when it comes to dealing with premature ejaculation, but there are certainly Ayurvedic approaches that can help you gain more control. In Ayurveda, premature ejaculation is often linked to a Vata imbalance, especially in the Apana Vata, which governs the lower abdomen area. Addressing this imbalance with both lifestyle and dietary changes can support improvement. Start by incorporating grounding, warm and oily foods into your diet. Warm soups, stews, whole grains like oats and rice, along with root vegetables, can be beneficial. Avoid excess caffeine, alcohol and spicy foods as they can aggravate Vata. Hydration is key, too, so sip on warm water troughout the day. Herbs such as Ashwagandha can be beneficial as they have adaptogenic qualities, supporting overall vitality and stamina. However, it's not that strong in a negative way, it's actually well-tolerated for most people. Before introducing any herb to your regimen, it's a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider, especially if you have other health concerns or are taking medication. Practicing daily abhyanga (self-massage) with warm sesame oil or olive oil can have calming effects on Vata. This can be particularly soothing when done in the evening. Focus on the lower abdomen and thighs to promote a sense of groundedness. Mindful relaxation and breathing techniques, though you've tried, often need consistency. Practice them daily, perhaps with yoga or meditation focused on the Muladhara (root) chakra, which supports stability and sexual vigor. In addition, Balancing physical active with rest so that the body and mind find it easier to align and find equilibrium. Western science too suggests that stress and anxiety impact ejaculatory control, so managing emotions can play a role. Finally, regular exercise, particularly yoga that focuses on postures pushing the pelvis forward like Paschimottanasana or Baddha Konasana, can support pelvic floor strength and overall control. Aim for a routine that fits comfortably into your schedule without adding stress. More immediate results can be slow, but with consistent, sincere application of these practices, you may find a deeper sense of control and confidence in time. And of course, do not hesitate to seek professional consultation for personalized guidance if needed!
