Hello Anil, I understand understand how troubling it must feel to have pain, even after so many years of the injury Penile fracture is essentially a tear in the tunica albuginea ( tissue covering of erectile body) Even after the medical treatment, some people can continue to experience discomfort or pain in the root / base area especially if there is Car tissue formation, nurse, sensitivity, or weekend, muscular According to Ayurveda this is due to imbalance in vata Dosha

When dealing with a penile fracture, particularly one with lingering effects, it’s vital to ensure that any treatment aligns properly with the body’s doshic balance. You’ve a complex situation where the trauma needs careful management. Pain, as you’re experiencing, could often be tied to a Vata imbalance, as Vata governs movement and pain sensations in the body.
Firstly, if there is any substantial pain or discomfort, it’s crucial to consult with a medical professional again to ensure no additional structural damage is present. Just to be on the safer side.
For an Ayurvedic approach, incorporating the herb Ashwagandha can be beneficial as its known for rejuvenation and strength. You might consider taking Ashwagandha churna with warm milk in the evening – about half a teaspoon. It helps improve overall vigor and assist in healing. Additionally, Shatavari and Gokshura could help with tissue rehabilitation and boost reproductive health.
Dietary aspects play a crucial role too; favor warm, cooked foods and include ghee in your meals, which supports healing. Avoid cold or raw food that can aggravate Vata. Hydration is crucial, so sip on warm herbal teas such as ginger tea throughout the day.
On exercise: nothing aggressive. Gentle yoga practices like Pavanamuktasana and Bhujangasana can improve circulation and flexibility, enhancing recovery, but avoid any poses that apply pressure to the genital area.
Consider a light massage of the area with Mahanarayan Oil once a day. This oil is traditionally used for musculoskeletal pain and healing.
Always perform these under supervision or guidance to ensure they align with your current health status. Consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner would offer personalized insight, especially, if there are any concurrent health issues or medications involved.
Penile fracture is indeed a condition that requires careful attention, especially if you’ve experienced pain persisting for several years. This situation might reflect an imbalance between the vata dosha, which governs movement and could be disturbed due to trauma, and the sapta dhatus, specifically, the mamsa (muscular tissue) and rakta (blood tissue), leading to chronic discomfort.
Given that this injury is long-standing, it’s important to first acknowledge whether any structural or functional recovery efforts suit the ongoing situation. Seek direct medical assessment, such as from a urologist, to ensure no further complications require immediate intervention.
Within the Siddha-Ayurvedic approach, several steps can be taken to support healing and manage discomfort. Begin by applying warm sesame oil to the affected area; sesame oil is nourishing for the tissues and can help alleviate vata-induced pain. Gentle massage, or abhyanga, can increase circulation locally, but avoid any pressure that causes more discomfort or pain.
Herbal formulations to consider include Guggulu, which assists with inflammation and supports tissue regeneration, and Bala (Sida cordifolia), known to strengthen tissue. These should be discussed with an Ayurvedic practitioner to tailor dosages to your constitution and condition further.
Furthermore, incorporating yoga or simple stretching exercises that enhance pelvic flexibility cautiously might assist. Poses like Baddha Konasana (Cobbler’s Pose) gently open the pelvic floor and can be beneficial. Again, pain presence should guide any exercise to avoid exacerbation.
Balancing diet by incorporating foods that pacify vata, such as warm, cooked meals prepared with spices like ginger and fennel, may also support systemic healing. Avoid cold or leftover foods that could disturb digestion and aggravate vata.
Remember, these remedies should complement professional medical treatment and not replace necessary interventions. Consulting directly with trained professionals will ensure you receive the appropriate care to manage and possibly improve your condition effectively.
