I am really confused about this whole ghee thing and its effects, especially in relation to cough. See, I've been trying to improve my diet and included ghee as a healthier fat option for cooking — it’s supposed to be good, right? But lately, I've noticed I've started coughing more, like a dry cough that kinda comes and goes, and I'm wondering if does ghee increase cough. A few of my friends mentioned that ghee could actually cause mucus buildup or something like that, but I can't remember all the details. I am not allergic to dairy, but I am worried that maybe I overdid it with the ghee, like I’ve used it a lot in my meals, especially in curries and on toast. My throat feels a bit scratchy too and sometimes I feel this urge to clear it. I can’t tell if it’s just the dry air or if the ghee is somehow contributing to this cough thing. Does anyone know if does ghee increase cough as a general rule, or is it more about how each person reacts to it? I really want to keep using it because it tastes so good but also just want to breathe without coughing! Help!!!
