I am really confused about eating curd with mango. Just the other day, I was at a family gathering, and my uncle insisted that we shouldn’t mix curd with mango because it can cause digestion issues. Like, seriously? I love mangoes and curd together! It was one of my favorite summer treats growing up. You know, those hot days when a cold bowl of curd with ripe mango chunks feels like pure heaven! But then I started to second guess myself. I have a friend who's into Ayurveda, and she said something about how some food combos can mess with your tummy. I tried to dig deeper, but she was kinda vague and just said, "Listen to your body." Sounds good in theory, but what does that even mean in terms of curd and mango?! I felt some bloating after having the dish a couple of days ago, but I also had other rich foods, so can't tell if it was the mango with curd that did it. I mean, can we eat curd with mango or not? Is it really that bad for our digestion? Or is it just a myth passed down through families? I'm all for trying to eat healthier and more mindfully, but this combo is just too tempting to give up. Would love to hear what the Ayurvedic docs think about curd with mango!
