Doctors' responses

Nightfall, or nocturnal emissions, is a natural physiological process, often due to hormonal changes and psychological factors, not solely the result of previous actions like masturbation. It’s crucial to focus on overall lifestyle balance and understanding of your body, rather than only seeking to stop nightfall entirely.

To address the issues with nightfall and maintain a balanced state, I recommend exploring the principles of Ayurveda, which entail managing doshas and enhancing ojas (vitality). First, pay attention to your diet, as consuming too much spicy and hot foods can aggravate pitta dosha, which influences reproductive health. Include cooling and nourishing foods like milk, ghee, almonds, and seasonal fruits in your meals. Drink lukewarm water throughout day to maintain proper hydration and digestion.

Implement stress-reducing activities such as Pranayama and meditation. Practice Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) and Bhramari Pranayama daily to calm the mind and help in controlling sexual urges. Yoga poses such as Paschimottanasana (seated forward bend), Sarvangasana (shoulder stand), and Vajrasana (thunderbolt pose) can stabilize your energy and aid in pelvic health.

Consider herbs like Ashwagandha, which are known to support vitality and improve stress resilience; Shatavari and Safed Musli for enhancing reproductive strength. Take these under guidance of an Ayurveda practitioner to ensure they’re suitable for your individual constitution.

Ensure adequate rest with a regular sleep schedule. Prioritize good sleep hygiene by avoiding screens before bedtime and creating a calm sleep environment.

It’s important to reflect on your self-criticism around masturbation and nightfall. Engaging in these activities doesn’t degrade your value or health status indefinitely. Understanding and accepting your body’s processes are vital to mental health. Positive mindset will positively influence physical well-being.

The time it takes to manage nightfall vary for each individual. Be patient and consistent with lifestyle changes, and remember balance and harmony in body are your primary goals. If you experience persistent pains or discomfort, it would be prudent to consult a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying conditions.
