Hello, Diarex tablets of Himalaya are safe to consume in the dosage 2 tablets after breakfast and 2 tablets after dinner. But the following when taken for a month will be more effective to correct digestion: MUSThARISHTAM(vaidyaratnam) 20ml—0----20ml after breakfast and after dinner with rqual amount of water. Take care, Kind regards.

Given the upset stomach and repeated stool episodes, it’s important to approach it with care, especially considering ongoing BP medication. Himalaya Diarex, which is an Ayurvedic formulation, is generally used to support gastrointestinal health. Before using it, consider potential interactions with your BP medications. Though it’s often well tolerated, individual responses can vary, and it may or may not have interactions depending on your specific medication.

Taking Diarex, 1 tablet twice a day, is common, but its duration should depend on how your symptoms evolve. Generally, it could be used for a few days to observe if improvements occur, but if no change or worsening is seen, it’s prudent to stop and consult a healthcare provider. Because having stool changes back to normal is crucial for health and prevent dehydration.

Instead of just focusing on Diarex, add some Ayurvedic practices to balance digestive fire (agni) without interfering with your medications. Cumin, coriander, and fennel tea can be sipped warm after meals to soothe digestion and reduce flatulence. These herbs can help balance Pitta and properly digest food. Avoid cold, raw foods temporarily - favor cooked, warm meals that are easy on the gut.

Keep pomegranate juice as it’s good for digestion, but limit any high-sugar or new items. Try to maintain a consistent diet for now. Considering the inconsistency of bowel frequency, think over avoiding fried, spicy, or oily food, as they can aggravate the condition.

If your situation does not improve or if symptoms worsen, do seek medical attention to exclude other underlying issues. Always prioritize safety with medications and any recurrent digestive concerns. You might also consider checking your health status with a professional if issues persist.

Considering your situation, you’ve experienced an upset stomach possibly exacerbated by recent outside food. It’s great you’re maintaining a bland diet and staying hydrated, as these are important first steps. With your current symptoms and background, let’s address some options from an Ayurvedic perspective.

Diarex is generally considered safe when used appropriately, but it can cause mild stomach discomfort in some individuals. You might continue with the recommended dosage of 1 tablet twice a day, but since you are also taking blood pressure medication, it’s crucial to watch for any unusual side effects and ideally consult your healthcare provider to ensure no interactions. Typically, using Diarex for 3-5 days can help stabilize your motion, but this varies from person to person.

Additionally, consider incorporating buttermilk mixed with a pinch of roasted cumin powder and a bit of rock salt to aid digestion and soothe the stomach. This can be taken once or twice daily, depending on your comfort.

Triphala churna, consumed with warm water before sleeping, can also help in harmonizing your digestion, but use cautiously, as it might lead to increased bowel movements initially.

If symptoms persist beyond a week without improvement, or if you experience dehydration signs, it is important to seek direct medical attention to exclude any serious underlying cause, especially given age-related vulnerabilities. Regular monitoring of your blood pressure while trying these remedies is advisable as part of your routine care.
