अगर पेट में मरोड़ और पानी जैसा दस्त हो तो Prandhara पानी पीना सही नहीं हो सकता है। आयुर्वेद के अनुसार, पेट की इन समस्याओं का संबंध अग्नि (digestive fire) की क्षमता में कमी और वात-कफ दोष के असंतुलन से जुड़ा हो सकता है। इसमें सूक्ष्मता से देखा जाए तो संभवतः आपकी अग्नि कमज़ोर है और शरीर में वात और कफ दोनों के लक्षण दिख रहे है।

पहले, पेट की अग्नि को मजबूत करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। इसके लिए आप अदरक के रस का सेवन कर सकते हैं, जो पाचन को सुधारने में सहायक होता है। अदरक का एक टुकड़ा लें, उसे कद्दूकस करके उसका रस निकाल लें और उसमें थोड़ा सा नींबू का रस मिलाएं। इसे खाने से पहले ले सकते हैं।

दूसरे, आप जल दूसरी तरह से उपयोग कर सकते हैं। धनिया और जीरा का पानी भी इस स्थिति में फायदेमंद होता है। इसके लिए धनिया और जीरा को रात भर पानी में भिगो कर रखें और सुबह उसे छानकर पी लें। इससे पाचन तंत्र को राहत मिलेगी और दस्त में कमी आ सकती है।

भोजन में हल्का और आसानी से पचने वाला भोजन करें। खिचड़ी, पतली मूंग दाल और सब्जियों का सूप इस स्थित में फायदेमंद हो सकते हैं। भारी, तले हुए और मसालेदार भोजन से बचें क्योंकि ये अवस्था को खराब कर सकते हैं।

अंत में, अगर स्थिति गंभीर होती है या दस्त रुकने का नाम ही नहीं ले रहा, तो तुरंत चिकित्सा सलाह लेना आवश्यक हो सकता है। पर्याप्त जल सेवन भी सुनिश्चित करें ताकि पानी की कमी न हो।
