According to Ayurveda: Meniere’s disease is mostly the case of Vata + Kapha imbalance in Shiro & Karna pradesha

Jyotishmati is: Highly Ushna (hot) Teekshna (stimulating) Medhya but activating

In case of senior people, too much Ushna & Teekshna drugs can: Increase Vata Impair Anxiety, over-stimulation, insomnia

👉 Therefore, I think these drugs may be the reason for his sleeplessness, especially this dose and frequency.

IMMEDIATE STEPS (VERY IMPORTANT)

1. Jyotishmati Ghan Vati should be stopped right away At this dose, it is not a 66-year-old suitable Insomnia, anxiety, palpitations are among the most common side effects of this drug

2. Either stop or temporarily reduce the dosage of Duralabha Ghan Vati If dizziness is under control, take a break for 2-3 days Only after sleep is back to normal, continue again

Dietary therapy isn’t just telling people to eat less fried food lol. It’s more about timing, combinations, seasonal influence, and what suits their prakriti. That kind of detail takes time, and sometimes patients don’t get why it matters at first.. but slowly it clicks. Panchakarma — I do it when I feel it's needed. Doesn’t suit everyone all the time, but in the right case, it really clears the stuck layers. But again, it's not magic — people need to prep properly and follow instructions. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. Hello, Is he on any allopathy medications, if so it wouls be helpful if you share the details,here. However along with the ayurveda medicines please add the following: 1. Mahakayanaka Ghritham 1/2 teaspoon in the morning and 1/2 teaspoon in the evening with a cup of war water 0ne hour before breakfast and one hour before dinner. 2. Kachooradi churnam to be mixed with ksheerabala thailam and applied to bregma;let it stay for 40 minutes; then you can remove. 3. Foot massage(very gentle/just application) with ksheerabala thailam.

Duralabha aur Jyotishmati dono nervous system ko stimulate karti hain. 66 saal ki age me 2–2 tablet din me 3 baar (total 12 tablets/day) bahut zyada dose ho jaati hai. Isi wajah se unhe bilkul neend nahi aa rahi.

1.	Abhi turant Jyotishmati band kar dein
2.	Duralabha bhi filhaal band kar dein (kam se kam 5–7 din)

Jyotishmati is a strong brain stimulant. Giving it 3 times a day (especially at night) is keeping his brain awake. It is too high a dose for his age (66).

Stop Night Dose: Do not give Jyotishmati after 4 PM. Reduce Dosage: Change from 6 tablets/day to just 1 tablet Morning + 1 tablet Afternoon. Duralabha: Continue, but limit to twice daily.

Remedies for Sleep 1 Add a pinch of Jaiphal (Nutmeg) powder to a cup of warm Buffalo Milk at bedtime. 2 Massage scalp with Brahmi Tailam or Ksheerabala Tailam nightly to cool the brain. 3 Rub Ghee on his soles for 5 minutes before sleep.

For Meniere’s Put 2 drops of warm Bilwadi Tailam in both ears daily. This treats the inner ear balance safely without causing insomnia.

Meniere’s rog mein neend ki samasya vastav me pareshaani ka karan ho sakti hai, aur aapka chinta sacchi hai. Aapke pita ko jyotishmati aur duralabha ki ghan tablet do do baar teen samay dena se unki neend par asar pad raha ho sakta hai. Shayad inko lene se unka agni prabhavit ho raha hai ya unka dosha imbalance ho rahan hain jo samanya neend me vyavdhan dalta hai.

Sab se pehle, in davaaiyon ke prabhav ko observe karna zaroori hai. Agar yeh problem tej ho rahi hai, to aapko apne vaidy ya ayurvedic doctor se salah lekar in davaaiyon ki maatra ya seema par vichar karna chahiye. Yadi koi bhi alopaathik dawa li ja rahi hai, to kisi bhi tara ka drug interaction ka dhyaan dena avashyak hai.

Neend ko sudharne ke liye kuch aajmaaye hue ayurvedic nuske hain jo aap laagu kar sakte hain. Pehli cheez hai ek garam tel malish, sarson ya til tel se, raat ko sone se pehle, jo man ko shant karne aur deh mai vata dosha ko thanda karne mai madad karta hai.

Doosara, ek cup dhoodh me jaiphal aur ashvgandha ka churna mila kar peene se bhi achi neend aa sakti hai. Jaiphal ko vishesh roop se sone se pehle baithar maana jata hai.

Khaane mai maamuli aur halka anna lein jo ki pacha sakhein. Krodh aur tanav se door rahein, aur din bhar mai kuch tarkari jaisa ki kaddu oswa etc. shamlit karein jo man aur sharir ko cool karte hain.

These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. I also try to keep things simple, like I don’t want patients feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with 10 things at once. We go step by step — sometimes slow, sometimes quick depending on the case. There’s no “one protocol fits all” in Ayurveda and frankly I get bored doing same thing again and again. Whether it’s a fever that won’t go or long-term fatigue or gut mess — I usually go deep into what's behind it. Surface-level fixes don’t last. I rather take the time than rush into wrong herbs.
