After hysterectomy, hormonal balance changes suddenly Even if thyroid reports or normal metabolism, slows down, fat, accumulation increases and diets alone, stop working This is very common

You need to correct metabolism and liver fat processing not just reduce food Start on Medhohara vati one tablet twice daily after food with warm water Arogyavardini vati one tablet twice daily after food with warm water Triphala churna 1 teaspoon with warm water at night

Eat warm, simple meals. Avoid dinner after 7 PM and stop frequent fasting. It slow metabolism further at this stage. Prefer brisk walking instead of intense workout With regular medicine and routine for 3 to 4 months, weight starts, reducing gradually and energy improves

After a hysterectomy, weight gain can be common, due to hormonal changes and metabolic rate alterations. In Ayurveda, balancing your dosha system is fundamental in managing post-operative weight and enhancing digestion, especially after significant surgeries like hysterectomy. With a focus on Kapha balancing due to weight issues, several practices and lifestyle changes can be considered.

First, consider enhancing your Agni (digestive fire) as this can often become sluggish with weight gain. Herbal support like Trikatu Churna, a blend of long pepper, black pepper, and ginger, can be helpful. Take 1/4 teaspoon in a glass of warm water before meals to stimulate digestion.

Regularly incorporating cardamom and cinnamon in your daily diet, especially in warm teas, can aid metabolism. These spices are known to be particularly balancing for Kapha and aid in weight management.

Dietary changes are essential. Favor foods that are light, dry, and warm. Prefer barley, millets, and green leafy vegetables. Limit intake of dairy, cold foods, fried foods, and excess sweets as they may imbalances Kapha. Ginger-lime tea is an excellent choice during the day for its warming properties.

Establish a routine for physical activity; aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise daily. A brisk walk in the morning sun, not only counteracts Kapha imbalance but also aids mental well-being and optimizes Vitamin D synthesis.

Mindful eating also plays a significant role. Eat your meals at the same times each day, and avoid eating heavy dinners late at night. Eating your largest meal of the day at lunch aligns with the peak of your digestive fire according to Ayurvedic principles.

Incorporating yoga, particularly asanas like Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) and twists, can align the body’s energy and also aid digestion. Pranayama, especially Kapalbhati, is beneficial in stimulating the metabolism and encouraging weight loss.

Be mindful of rest and recovery, ensuring sleep is adequate but not excessive as oversleeping can aggravate Kapha. Stress management techniques like meditation or guided breathing can support your hormonal health indirectly.

These lifestyle and dietary adjustments should be layered gradually into your routine, ensuring consistency. If after these interventions there’s no significant improvement, consider consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner for a more personalized plan.
