APICAL HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY IS A GENETIC CONDITION WHERE THE HEART MUSCLE ESPECIALLY AT THE APEX BECOMES THICK AND STIFF WITH AGE DUE TO THIS STIFFNESS THE HEART DOES NOT RELAX PROPERLY DURING FILLING SO DURING EXERTION OXYGEN DEMAND INCREASES AND MILD ANGINA OR FATIGUE CAN OCCUR EVEN IF PUMPING POWER APPEARS NORMAL ON REPORTS THIS IS WHY YOUR CARDIOLOGIST HAS ADVISED LIMITED WALKING AND TO STOP WHEN PAIN APPEARS THIS ADVICE IS MEDICALLY AND AYURVEDICALLY CORRECT AND SHOULD NEVER BE IGNORED

FROM AYURVEDIC POINT OF VIEW THIS CONDITION CAN BE UNDERSTOOD AS VATA DOMINANT HRIDAYA VIKARA WITH MAMSA DHATU VRIDDHI AND SROTAS AVARODHA DUE TO AGE RELATED VATA PRAKOPA AYURVEDA DOES NOT CLAIM TO REVERSE THE GENETIC STRUCTURE OR FORCE THE HEART TO TOLERATE EXCESS LOAD BUT IT CAN SUPPORT HEART MUSCLE FLEXIBILITY CIRCULATION OXYGEN UTILISATION AND FATIGUE RECOVERY SO THAT TOLERANCE IMPROVES GRADUALLY AND SAFELY

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BE CLEAR THAT AYURVEDIC TREATMENT SHOULD NOT BE USED TO PUSH WALKING DURATION AGAINST PAIN OR MEDICAL ADVICE THE GOAL IS GRADUAL IMPROVEMENT AND BETTER QUALITY OF WALKING WITHOUT STRAIN

BEFORE STARTING OR MODIFYING TREATMENT RECENT INVESTIGATIONS SHOULD BE REVIEWED SUCH AS ECG ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY WITH DIASTOLIC FUNCTION DETAILS BLOOD PRESSURE RECORDS LIPID PROFILE FASTING AND POST PRANDIAL SUGAR AND KIDNEY FUNCTION TESTS THIS ENSURES SAFE SELECTION OF MEDICINES

ARJUNA CHURNA HALF TEASPOON TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD WITH WARM WATER THIS IS HRIDYA IT SUPPORTS HEART MUSCLE NOURISHMENT IMPROVES ENDURANCE AND HELPS IN ANGINA TENDENCY WITHOUT OVERSTIMULATING THE HEART

ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA HALF TEASPOON AT NIGHT WITH WARM MILK OR WARM WATER THIS REDUCES MUSCLE FATIGUE CALMS VATA AND SUPPORTS RECOVERY IN ELDERLY HEART PATIENTS

DASHAMOOLA KWATH TEN ML ONCE DAILY IN THE AFTERNOON WITH WARM WATER THIS HELPS VATA BALANCE AND IMPROVES TISSUE FLEXIBILITY

WALKING SHOULD ALWAYS REMAIN PAIN FREE IF CURRENTLY 15 TO 30 MINUTES IS COMFORTABLE THAT IS SAFE LIMIT YOU MAY TRY TO INCREASE BY 5 MINUTES ONLY AFTER THREE TO FOUR WEEKS AND ONLY IF THERE IS NO CHEST DISCOMFORT BREATHLESSNESS DIZZINESS OR UNUSUAL FATIGUE ANY PAIN IS A SIGNAL TO STOP NOT TO PUSH

WARM UP SLOW WALKING AND COOL DOWN ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN TOTAL DURATION REGULARITY IS MORE BENEFICIAL THAN LONG DURATION

WITH CONSISTENT MEDICAL AND AYURVEDIC SUPPORT MANY PATIENTS EXPERIENCE BETTER ENERGY LESS FATIGUE AND SLIGHTLY IMPROVED WALKING TOLERANCE BUT THE FINAL LIMIT IS DECIDED BY THE HEART RESPONSE AND SAFETY MUST ALWAYS COME FIRST

Thank you doctor for valuable advice . I am currently taking concor 5 for BP morning Ronalizine ER500 for angina pain two times morning evening and Rosavas for chelostrol. My ECG is alwsys abnormal forva long time but echography test is ok which I do frequently on the advice of cardiologist. For bredykensia in left arm since 5/6 years I take premipex .750 1.5 tablet plus half tablet Sandyopa plus as prescribed by neurologist. I do daily mild exercses in the morning and also walk for 20-25 minutes at least 5 days a week in the morning.I monitor bp and it remains as 130-140/65-70 HR : upto 69 .Please advise the Ayurvedic medicines prescribed by you can be taken along with allopathic medices as written abovr

THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR MEDICATION DETAILS AND CURRENT ROUTINE THE MEDICINES YOU ARE TAKING FOR BLOOD PRESSURE ANGINA CHOLESTEROL AND BRADYKINESIA ARE APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR CONDITION AND THE FACT THAT YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE HEART RATE AND ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY REMAIN STABLE IS REASSURING

THE AYURVEDIC MEDICINES MENTIONED EARLIER CAN BE TAKEN ALONG WITH YOUR PRESENT ALLOPATHIC MEDICATIONS AS THEY DO NOT INTERFERE WITH CONCOR RANOLAZINE ROSUVASTATIN PREMIPEX OR SYNDOPA WHEN TAKEN IN ADVISED DOSES THESE AYURVEDIC MEDICINES ARE SUPPORTIVE IN NATURE AND ARE NOT STIMULANTS

IN PLACE OF ARJUNA CHURNA YOU MAY TAKE ARJUNA KSHEERA PAKA TAKE ONE TEASPOON OF ARJUNA POWDER ADD THREE HUNDRED ML WATER AND ONE HUNDRED ML MILK BOIL ON LOW FLAME UNTIL IT REDUCES TO ONE HUNDRED ML FILTER AND DRINK THIS TWICE DAILY ON EMPTY STOMACH

ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA HALF TEASPOON AT NIGHT WITH WARM MILK OR WARM WATER DASHAMOOLA KWATH TEN ML ONCE DAILY IN THE AFTERNOON WITH WARM WATER

PLEASE MAINTAIN A GAP OF AT LEAST THIRTY TO FORTY FIVE MINUTES BETWEEN ALLOPATHIC AND AYURVEDIC MEDICINES CONTINUE YOUR CURRENT WALKING DURATION OF TWENTY TO TWENTY FIVE MINUTES AS LONG AS IT REMAINS COMPLETELY PAIN FREE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INCREASE WALKING TIME RAPIDLY OR AGAINST CHEST DISCOMFORT BREATHLESSNESS OR FATIGUE

WARM UP BEFORE WALKING AND COOL DOWN AFTER WALKING ARE IMPORTANT CONSISTENCY AND COMFORT ARE MORE BENEFICIAL THAN LONG DURATION CONTINUE REGULAR CARDIOLOGY AND NEUROLOGY FOLLOW UP AND PERIODIC INVESTIGATIONS AS ADVISED

AYURVEDIC SUPPORT IS INTENDED TO IMPROVE ENDURANCE REDUCE FATIGUE AND SUPPORT OVERALL HEART AND NERVOUS SYSTEM HEALTH WHILE MAINTAINING SAFETY IF ANY NEW SYMPTOM SUCH AS INCREASED CHEST PAIN DIZZINESS EXCESSIVE FATIGUE OR DROP IN BLOOD PRESSURE IS NOTICED THE AYURVEDIC MEDICINES SHOULD BE PAUSED AND REVIEWED

WITH REGULAR MONITORING AND A BALANCED APPROACH THIS INTEGRATED PLAN CAN BE CONTINUED SAFELY
