Hello Rafiq ji Struggling with asthma since 40 years is very commendable I can understand at 78 year of age is is not tiring but dont worry we are here to help you out ▪️Ayurvedic Understanding Asthma is a episodic which aggrevated when your breathing gets blocked or congested It is because of accumulated kapha in yout lungs And also vata imbalance As you have mentioned that you feel better in warm environment ▪️So our treatment should focus on -Reducing your kapha -Clearing the channel -Reducing the frequency of episode -Improving immunity ▪️Ayurvedic plan of treatment ➖Sitopaladi churna + Talisadi churna 1/2 tsp each with honey twice daily after food ➖Dashmoolakatutreya kashaya 15 ml twice daily with equal water twice daily after food ➖Pippaliasvam 20 ml twice daily after food ➖Agastya Rasayana 1 tsp at bed time followed by warm water ▪️External care You must have observed that when you do head bath or apply cold oil on your head normally people will get cold, cough So in asthma i advise pt to always apply hot potency oil on head which will reduce episodes ➖Marichadi taila- Apply warm oil on head half hour before bath ➖also apply same oil on your chest before sleeping ➖Do steam inhalation daily with warm water ▪️Some of the home remedies -have turmeric milk at night But used warm diluted milk -Ginger 1 pinch of dry ginger powder with honey -use only warm water for drinking ▪️Diet plan Include -Have warm food -light diet like khichadi -moong dal or vegetable soup ❌Avoid -Cold food -cold drinks, icecream -banana ▪️Try breathing practices like anulom vilom, bhrahamari ▪️Lifestyle tips -avoid triggers like dust -Keep your chest warm -Avoid sleeping in day time Hope you found this helpful Wishing you a good health😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Hello, sir, considering your age, no harsh treatment methods are advisable. The only treatment principle we can follow now is pure rasayana, that is, rejuvenation therapies. Use these medicines as advised above, as indicated. For any other use 2 drops in each nostril twice daily. Also follow yoga practices like anuloma and viloma, bhramari and kapalbhati techniques

Namaste, Long-term asthma needs regular care and prevention, especially at your age. With the right routine, you can improve your comfort and quality of life. Simple measures that may help: Continue your inhaler regularly as advised; do not stop it. Avoid dust, smoke, and cold exposure, as they trigger symptoms. Keep your surroundings clean and well-ventilated. Drink warm water and avoid cold drinks or refrigerated foods. Take light, warm, easy-to-digest meals and avoid heavy or mucus-forming foods (like excess dairy and sweets). Do gentle breathing exercises (pranayama) daily, within your comfort. Maintain regular sleep and mild physical activity like walking. Since symptoms are daily, periodic doctor follow-up is important to adjust treatment if needed. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support respiratory health include: Sitopaladi Churna – traditionally used to support breathing and reduce phlegm. Talisadi Churna – sometimes used to support respiratory function. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

Hello, With 40 + years of asthma , the goal now is not cure but stable breathing, fewer attacks, and better daily comfort. Asthma= Tamaka shwasa Main imbalance= vata + kapha (mucus + airway constriction) So treatment focuses on -reducing kapha (phlegm, heaviness ) -calming vata (breath instability) Daily herbal support Take regularly, not occasionally Morning (empty stomach ) - 1 tsp ginger juice + honey After meals twice daily -warm water with pinch of turmeric + black pepper Night -Sitopaladi churn 1/2 tsp with honey =helps reduce mucus, improve lung strength Diet most important for you -warm, freshly cooked meals -soups lentil, vegetable -garlic, ginger, turmeric -old rice, wheat, moong dal -warm water throughout day Avoid completely -cold drinks, ice cream -curd especially at night -fried, oily food -banana especially evening -dust exposure food Your trigger is dust-> diet must not increase mucus Breathing and lifestyle At your age, keep it gentle Pranayam (daily 10-15 min) -Anulom Vilom very important -Bhramari calms breath -Avoid heavy exercise -keep chest warm no cold air exposure -use mask in dusty areas Routine -wake up early, avoid late nights -sleep by 10 pm -gentle chest massage with mustard oil before bath Environment You like hot weather-> good for you Avoid -dust -cold -damp rooms Use -clean, dry, warm surroundings Important Note (modern + Ayurveda together) -continue your inhaler regularly (do Not stop suddenly) -Ayurveda works slow but steady -Goal= reduce frequency of attacks over time Small powerful habit sip warm water every hour -> This alone can reduce mucus significantly Warm + light + regular routine= better breathing Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
