●Yes you can give him and im giving some medicines ●The Importance of Diet in Diabetes According to Ayurveda, if the diet is not correct, even the best medicine cannot show its full effect. In diabetes, The purpose of diet is to: • Prevent the increase of phlegm • Reduce fat • Stabilize the digestive fireWhat to eat (grains and pulses) Dietary grains: • Wheat in limited quantities. Dietary pulses: • Mung bean, gram, pigeon pea • Barley, kodo, and savanna • Old rice (Shashtik Shali) • Horse gram (Kulathi). These grains are considered light, rough, and anti-phlegm and fat. Avoid new grains. What to Eat (Vegetables) Bitter and astringent vegetables: • Bitter gourd • Fenugreek, pointed gourd, drumstick • Radish, cucumber • Bottle gourd, ridge gourd, spinach • Leafy vegetables: These vegetables gently balance the phlegm and fat in the body. What to drink (drinks) Dietary drinks: • Buttermilk • Lukewarm water • Triphala water Kushodak/Sarodak (as advised by a doctor) Sweet drinks, packaged juices • Cold water Avoid sugary drinks. ●What should be limited/avoided? Sweets • White flour • Fried food • Excessive oil • Yogurt (at night) • Potatoes, sweet potatoes Excessive fruit (especially sweets) Diabetes requires balance, not abstinence. ●The Principle of Multi-Medicine Formula Multi-medicine combinations are considered more effective in treating diabetes than single medications, because they simultaneously act on: • Kapha-Meda • Agni • Dhatu • Srotas ●Herbs Used (Composition) 25 grams each: • Bitter gourd seeds, Gudmar • Wild jamun seeds, Neem, Giloy, Ashwagandha • Neem bark, Belpatra • Triphala, Turmeric • Special ingredients: • Pure Shilajit - 50 grams • Trivanga Bhasma - 12 grams This combination is chosen for phlegm-absorption, ama-reduction, and metal balancing. ●Quantity and ratio Normal quantities • 2 to 3 gm 1 or 2 times a day Drinking (with): • Warm water or takra (buttermilk) Time: • Before meals or as directed by the doctor The amount varies according to the nature, age and disease state of the person.

You can still support your husband’s condition in a meaningful and hopeful way while being mindful of his diabetes mellitus and vascular dementia Brahma Rasayanam is a very good rejuvenative for memory and strength and its intention suits his condition but because of the high sugar base it is better to avoid regular use or keep it only in very minimal monitored quantity A better and safer option here is to use Brahmi Pearls which provide the benefits of Brahmi in a concentrated form without adding any sugar load and can support memory clarity and cognitive function in a more controlled way Along with this Mandukaparni can also be considered for improving brain circulation and slowing degeneration and small doses of Kalyanaka Ghrita can help in nourishing the nervous system and calming aggravated vata which is responsible for the slowing of movements Regular gentle oil application with warm sesame oil over the body will also support circulation reduce stiffness and gradually help in maintaining better mobility

Hello, First- About Brahmarasayanam (important) -Not ideal/ generally NOT recommended in your husbands case WHY? -because it Is mainly for = memory, brain function, aging support BUT -it contains high sugar (jaggery, honey, ghee based base) ->This can raise blood glucose levels, even if diabetes is well controlled In your husband -long standing diabetes (>10years) -vascular dementia (brain blood flow issue) -slowed movement + fatigue So giving a high sugar formulation daily is risky and may -destabilize sugar levels -increase inflammation -worsen vascular damage over time Will it help dementia? partially yes, but not the best choice Brahmarasayanam may -support memory mildly -nourish brain tissue BUT -it does not address the root cause in vascular dementia -poor circulation -nerve degeneration -metabolic damage from diabetes Instead of one rasayana, we treat 3 root problems together -Brain degeneration (dementia) -circulation (vascular issue) -metabolism (diabetes + fatigue) Internal medication 1) Ksheerbala 101 capsule= 1 cap twice daily after meals =nourishes nerves, improves movement, reduces stiffness 2) Brahmi ghritam= 1/4 tsp with warm milk in morning =improves memory, calms mind, supports cognition Better than brahmarasayanam because lower sugar load 3) Vasguduchyadi kashaya= 15ml + 45ml water twice daily before meals =controls blood sugar, reduces inflammation, protects blood vessels 4) Ashwaandha tablet= 1 tab twice daily after meals =improves strength, reduces fatigue, supports nervous system 5) Saraswatarishtam = 10ml with equal water after meals =enhances speech, cognition helps dementia symptoms External treatment 1) Oil massage= ksheerbala taila =improves circulation, reduces stiffness, helps movement slowing 2) Head massage= daily with ksheerbala taila =improves memory, sleep, nourishment 3) Foot massage at night with warm ghee =helps nerve relaxation, better sleep, brain calming Lifestyle + yoga gentle daily routine -slow walking 20 min -sun exposure morning Pranayam -Anulom Vilom= improves brain oxygen -Bhramari= calming, improves cognition Diet -warm, freshly cooked meals -whole grains millets, oats -green vegetables -cow ghee small amount Avoid -sugar, jaggery heavy products -packaged foods -excess curd especially at night -deep fried foods Simple home remedies 1) Turmeric milk at night= anti inflammatory, protect vessels 2) Soaked almonds 2-3 daily= brain nourishment Investigation to monitor -HbA1c -fasting and post meal sugar -lipid profile -vitamin B12 Treatment goal we aim to -slow dementia progression -improve circulation to brain -maintain stable sugar levels -enhance mobility and strength -improve quality of life Avoid starting Brahmarasayanam on your own It is not ideal for diabetics, especially long term use Instead -use low sugar, nerve supportive formulations -focus on oil therapies + circulation + metabolism balance Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
