Drakshadi Kashayam is traditionally used in Ayurveda for improving circulation, reducing heat, supporting liver function, and relieving fatigue or Pitta-related symptoms. While it is not specifically listed for varicose veins, its circulation-supportive and anti-inflammatory properties may indirectly help with vein discomfort, swelling, or heaviness. For varicose veins, Ayurveda usually combines internal herbal support with lifestyle measures: • Circulation-promoting herbs and rasayanas – like Triphala, Arjuna, or Nirgundi, depending on your constitution • External therapies – gentle leg massage with medicated oils, application of cooling pastes, or abhyanga • Lifestyle adjustments – elevating legs, avoiding prolonged standing, and continuing regular exercise • Diet – light, anti-inflammatory foods, adequate hydration, and fiber for proper bowel movement Since each case varies based on vein severity, skin changes, and circulation pattern, a personal consultation will help select the most suitable internal medicines, external therapies, and lifestyle plan to manage varicose veins safely and effectively.
