The symptoms you are describing indicate a long standing disturbance in peripheral circulation where the lower limbs are not receiving adequate warmth and nourishment due to narrowing of blood vessels along with functional constriction this is commonly associated with aggravated vata along with obstruction in the channels which reduces proper flow to the extremities and leads to persistent coldness discomfort and intolerance to prolonged sitting The aggravation of symptoms during cold weather further reflects reduced circulatory strength and inability of the body to maintain adequate warmth in the lower limbs increased stress levels also contribute significantly as they cause further constriction of vessels and disturb normal flow over time this may also be associated with low circulatory efficiency reduced tissue nourishment and possible underlying metabolic imbalance

Namaste, Your symptoms — very cold legs/feet, difficulty sitting long, and diagnosis of narrow blood vessels — indicate reduced peripheral circulation, which can be due to both vascular + nervous system factors. Simple understanding: Narrow vessels → reduced blood flow to legs Cold sensation → poor circulation + vata dominance Worse in cold weather → typical vata aggravation Stress → further constricts blood vessels So this is a combination of circulation + vata imbalance, not just one issue. Important point: If vessels are significantly narrowed, it is important to rule out vascular conditions (like peripheral artery disease), so regular doctor follow-up is needed. Simple measures that may help: Keep legs warm at all times (socks, avoid cold floors) Avoid sitting long hours – move every 30–40 minutes Do daily walking (20–30 mins) to improve circulation Practice leg elevation when resting Do gentle leg exercises and stretching Manage stress (very important) Avoid smoking (if applicable) Oil application: Daily massage of legs and feet with warm sesame oil or Mahanarayana oil improves circulation significantly. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Lasuna Tablet – 1 tablet, twice daily after meals Arjunarishta – 15–20 ml with equal water, after lunch and dinner Yogaraj Guggulu – 1 tablet, twice daily after meals These help in improving circulation and reducing vascular stiffness. Improvement takes 4–8 weeks with consistency. If you notice severe pain while walking, color change, or ulcers, consult doctor immediately. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

Hello, Your symptoms (chronic cold legs/feet, discomfort on sitting, narrowed vessels ) point toward poor peripheral circulation, which in modern terms may related to conditions like early vascular insufficiency or vasospasm. In Ayurveda, this is mainly due to vata imbalance (especially vyana vata) along with kapha obstruction Ayurveda view -Vata aggravation= causes constriction, dryness, poor flow -Kapha accumulation= blocks channels -results= reduced blood flow-> coldness, stiffness, pain Diet focus on warm, circulation boosting foods -warm, freshlt cooked meals -garlic, ginger, black pepper, cinnamon -sesame oil, ghee improves circulation -nuts almonds, walnuts soaked -beetroot, carrots, grren leafy vegetables Avoid -cold, refrigerated food -excess tea, coffee -heavy oily junk food -excess sugar blocks channel Lifestyle -avoid sitting long= move every 30-45 min -keep legs warm walways very important -daily walking 20-30 min improves flow -reduce stress= worsen vata External therapies Daily oil massage -use warm sesame oil -massage legs and feet before bath -improves circulation + reduces coldness Followed by mild steam and do foot oil massage before bed daily Internal medication 1) Ashwagandha churna= 1 tsp with warm milk twice daily =improves circulation and strength 2) Arjuna capsule= 1 cap twice daily after meals =supports blood vessels 3) Yogaraj guggulu= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =removes blockage 4) Dashmoola kashaya= 15ml + equal water twice before meals =balances vata Yoga and pranayam -pawanmuktasana leg movements -viparita karani= excellent for circulation -anulom vilom= balances vata -bhastrika= improves oxygenation Your condition is reversible and manageable if you -warm the body -improve circulation -reduce vata + clear blockage Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
