I have noticed a yellowish tint to my facial skin for a while now. I have also developed dark patches on my face and experience occasional rashes on different parts of my body. This happened after I had been taking multivitamin tablets and flaxseed capsules for a few months

The timing after multivitamins and flaxseed capsules suggests a metabolic or liver clearance overload with Pitta–Rakta aggravation, leading to pigmentation changes and intermittent skin inflammation. First priority is stopping the likely triggers and supporting liver–blood detox. Ayurvedic treatment Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food (supports liver + skin metabolism) Manjistha Churna – 1 tsp twice daily with warm water (blood purification, reduces pigmentation) Guduchi (Giloy) tablet / satva – 500 mg twice daily after food (reduces inflammatory skin reactions) Khadirarishta – 15 ml + equal water twice daily after food (for rashes and skin detox) If itching or active rashes present Haridra (turmeric) capsule – 1 capsule twice daily after food Apply Neem leaf paste or Neem oil diluted locally once daily External support Gentle washing with besan + turmeric + rose water Avoid steroid creams and chemical fairness products

Agrivation of pitta is causing the yellow and blackish colour change on the skin. ??Do’s?? Drink buttermilk daily. Eat freshly cooked food. Drink warm water. Lunch and dinner on fixed timings. 100 steps after every meal. If possible dinner as early as 7-8 pm. ?Don’ts:? Packed and processed food. Ready to eat items. Oily and spicy food. Sour and fermented products. Dals (only moong dal can be eaten) Besan Raw vegetables and sprouts Curd Reduce dairy intake. ??Medication ?? Tab. Laghusuthshekhar ras 2 tabs twice a day before food Tab. Liv 52 DS 1 tab twice a day after food Syp. Bhunimbadi kwath 3 tsp twice a day before food Castor oil 2 tsp at bed time with a cup of hot water thric a week.

In Ayurveda, the appearance of a yellowish tint and dark patches on the face is typically diagnosed through the lens of Kshudra Roga (minor skin conditions) or Vyangya (hyperpigmentation), primarily caused by an imbalance in the Pitta Dosha and a disturbance in the Rakta Dhatu (blood tissue). 1.Mahamanjisthadi Kadha: A potent blood purifier. ​Dosage: 15–20 ml with an equal amount of water, twice a day after meals. 2. Arogyavardhini Vati: Excellent for balancing liver enzymes and clearing skin toxins. ​Dosage: 1 tablet twice a day after meals. 3.Sarivadyasava: Helps in cooling the blood and reducing the yellowish tint. ​Dosage: 15ml with equal amount of water after lunch and dinner. 4.External Applications ​Kumkumadi Tailam: This is the gold standard for facial patches. ​Usage: Apply 3–4 drops on a clean face at night. Massage gently in upward strokes.
