I have symptoms of post nasal drip I think It means ican retract mucus from nose to throat also can't sleep on right side and felt dry in ear nose mouth upper part but normt exactly in throat sore throat I don't know but when I did wake up each time in morning voice used to degrade for some time and irritation always in these part no other symptom it is not from always i think it started from lock down period I used to eat numerous garlic but I also think some is it allergic bcoz when I was untill 12 13 ihad periodic asthama but now I left eating outside food and felt nice also tongue feels white and sputum from nose is smelly little bit will oil pulling help

you can take Sitopaladi churna half teaspoon with honey haridra khanda 1 tsp with milk by these medicines u may feel some relief and along with these do some pranayama do some steam inhalation which may help

First, let’s discuss oil pulling. This can potentially be helpful for your situation. Use sesame oil or coconut oil for oil pulling first thing in the morning, preferably on an empty stomach. Gargle with a tablespoon of oil for about 15 minutes, attempting to swish it through all parts of your mouth and then spit it out. This procedure helps remove toxins and improve oral hygiene, but it may not target the root cause of your symptoms directly.

Additionally, your diet matters a lot. Considering your history with periodic asthma and possible allergies, I would suggest avoiding dairy products and cold foods, as these can increase Kapha. Also, since your tongue feels white and sputum is smelly, it might indicate toxins (ama) in the body. Drinking warm water regularly can support agni (digestive fire) and help eliminate ama. For the dryness in your mouth and ears, increasing your water intake and perhaps using a humidifier while sleeping can do wonders.

Your dry nostrils and throat irritation might improve with steam inhalation with a few drops of eucalyptus oil added. But ensure you’re not allergic to eucalyptus before trying this. It’s crucial not to use boiling water to prevent injury.

Regarding the sleep difficulties, elevated pillows could reduce discomfort from mucus accumulation at night, and try to sleep on left side if right is uncomfortable. Since these symptoms began in lockdown, stress might play a role. Incorporating daily practice of yoga or meditation could assist in balancing Vata dosha and relieve any associated stress.
