I’ve been dealing with chronic skin issues for years now, mainly eczema and patches of dry, itchy skin that sometimes ooze. A friend recently suggested trying rasaut, saying it’s a popular Ayurvedic remedy for skin conditions. I don’t know much about it, but I’m really curious to learn how it works and whether it could help with my situation. From what I understand, rasaut is made from daruharidra (tree turmeric) and is supposed to have strong anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Is this true? How exactly does rasaut help with skin problems like eczema or psoriasis? Should it be applied directly to the skin, or is it meant to be taken internally?
