I am dealing with this really annoying tan on my hands for the last few weeks. I was out in the sun for too long while gardening (like, totally forgot to put on sunscreen, ugh) and now they look like a different color compared to the rest of my arms. I tried scrubbing them with soap and water but it just won't budge! I’ve been searching for how to remove tan from hands home remedies but it’s confusing. Some people say lemon juice works wonders, while others recommend using yogurt or even sugar scrubs. I honestly don’t know what will actually help. I even read somewhere that turmeric can lighten skin, but im afraid it might leave a yellow stain or something. Anyone had success using some natural stuff? I would love to hear what actually works because I really don't wanna go around with these tanned hands. I want them back to normal before the family barbecue next weekend. Also, if anyone knows how often I should be doing these remedies? Like, do I just do it once or should it be a daily thing? Help me out here, I am super frustrated!!

Avoiding lemon juice is advisable, though it’s often recommended, it can be harsh on the skin and cause more harm than good, especially if exposed to sunlight soon after. Instead, a mild turmeric and milk paste offers a better alternative. Mix a teaspoon of turmeric with enough milk to form a paste, and apply it to your hands.
