I am struggling with psoriasis for years now, like, it feels like no matter what I try, it just keeps flaring up. I’ve tried creams, diets, you name it. Recently, I heard somewhere that green tea might be helpful. Like, is green tea good for psoriasis? I noticed that when I drink it, my itching seems a little less annoying, but not exactly sure if it's just my imagination. Last week, I had another bad breakout on my elbows and knees, which are the worst spots for me. It's just frustrating. I do drink a cup or two daily, but I'm not consistent, maybe I should be? I read that green tea has, like, antioxidants and stuff, so it feels promising, but I'm afraid that trying it more often won’t change anything. Anyone here have any experience or knowledge on this? Is green tea good for psoriasis or is it just another “miracle” thing people say? I'm just looking for something that actually helps, you know? Thanks in advance for any advice or insight.

In addition to green tea, explore other Ayurvedic approaches. A diet promoting detoxification, like including more bitter and sour fruits like amla (Indian gooseberry), and leafy greens can be supportive. Drinking warm water throughout the day and engaging in regular exercises, like yoga, help maintain a balance in your Doshas and overall health.

As a caution, while the antioxidant defense in green tea is beneficial, it might not work the same for everyone.
