Tinnitus is a sound generated by the nervous system, not the ear alone. Common causes include: Noise exposure (most important in your case) Weak auditory nerve / inner-ear imbalance Anxiety, stress, poor sleep Cervical (neck) tension Vata aggravation (Ayurveda) 🚨 First – what you MUST do (very important) Please do these without delay, as your tinnitus is very severe: ENT + Audiometry test Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA) Tympanometry Avoid loud sounds completely No earphones / headphones Avoid traffic noise, generators, loud TV Check cervical spine Neck stiffness or posture issues can worsen tinnitus ⚠️ If tinnitus suddenly increases, causes dizziness, or hearing loss → see ENT urgently. 🌿 Ayurvedic approach (safe & helpful) In Ayurveda, this condition resembles Karna Nāda / Karna Kṣveda (Vata disorder). 1️⃣ External therapies (very effective) Karna Pūrana (Ear oiling) Oil: Bilva Taila or Kṣīrabala Taila Method: Warm oil slightly 4–5 drops in affected ear Once daily, 7–14 days Avoid if ear discharge is present 2️⃣ Internal medicines (general guidance) (Please consult an Ayurvedic physician before starting) Aśvagandhā churna – for nerve calming Brahmi / Mandukaparni – for auditory nerve support Yograj Guggulu – if neck stiffness or Vata pain present 👉 These work slowly but help long-term, not instantly. 🧘 Lifestyle & daily habits (VERY IMPORTANT) Sleep before 10:30 pm Gentle neck stretching daily Daily Abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame oil Practice Anulom Vilom (5–10 minutes) Avoid: Coffee Very spicy food Fasting Excess phone usage at night
