Vitiligo from last three years , age 15 years patches on chest, underarms and in last 6 months on face too.tried homeopathy but results are not stable , now start ayurveda , all is easy to follow except total removal of tomatoes, use in currys in cooked form, restricted raw one ..is it ok?

Hello I can understand it is difficult to deal with vitiligo when it is spreading in nature and now started on face too But really dont worry vitiligo can be treated provided -Treatment is regular for 6-9 months -You will see minute change only after 2-3 months of treatment So you have to be consistent and also have faith in treatment IMPORTANT TO KNOW PROGRESSION OF TREATMENT -in 3 months you will see that the spread has stopped -Next 5 months you will see normal skin coming slowly -and then we will focus on bringing the normal skin tone to the patches AYURVEDIC APPROCH OF TREATMENT -Purifying rakta (blood) -Improving metabolism -Detoxifying -Supporting healthy skin pigmentation AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT INTERNAL MEDICATION 1.Pigmento 1 tablet twice daily after food 2.Mahamanjisthadi kashaya 15 ml twice daily after food with equal water 3.Markava rasyaana 1 tsp at bed time EXTERNAL CARE 1.Awalgunjadi churna mix with gomutra and apply on patches present on chest and underarm and expose it to sunlight and wash it off after 15 mins After somedays blisters will start coming When blisters will heal the new skin coming will get normalized 2.Markava taila -apply on all patches at bed time DIET PLAN. About tomatoes: You can take tomatoes in cooked form in small quantity if they do not worsen your condition. Completely avoiding them is not always necessary unless you notice any reaction or increase in patches after eating. Avoid very sour, fermented, and incompatible food combinations (like milk with salty or sour foods). Simple measures that may help: Follow a balanced, simple diet with fresh and home-cooked food. Avoid junk food, excessive sour items, and processed foods. Maintain regular routine, proper sleep, and stress control. Take sun exposure in mild amounts, as advised. Vitiligo treatment takes time and consistency, so continue treatment patiently. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support skin health include: Bakuchi (Psoralea) – traditionally used in vitiligo management. Khadirarishta – sometimes used to support skin purification.
