–Your loss of smell (anosmia) is likely due to nerve weakness, not a sinus problem since your scan is normal. The good news is that some faint smell means recovery is possible. The best treatment is smell training—twice daily, gently smell strong scents like lemon, rose, clove, and eucalyptus for a few months. Improvement is slow but many people do get better over time. —Dx: Anosmia (Vata–Kapha) 1. Nasya Kerala Ayurveda Anu Thailam 2 drops each nostril, morning × 2–3 months 2. Gandha Abhyasa Lemon, clove, eucalyptus, rose – smell twice daily 3. Steam Eucalyptus steam inhalation once daily 4. External Kerala Ayurveda Mahanarayana Thailam Apply head/neck daily Advice: Avoid cold foods, take warm diet Review: 4 weeks

Hello I can understand its very frustrating when you dont get a sense of smell Its good that you can now smell slightly which suggests that your main function is not lost and there is scope to regain your sense of smell ▪️In your case As your Ct scan is normal. That means there are no structural changes so you will very well respond to ayurvedic treatments ▪️We should focus on -clearing the blockage -Nourishing the nerves of smell(olfactory nerves) -Gradually stimulate smell receptors ▪️Ayurvedic Plan of treatment ▪️External care ➖Nasya - most important Anu taila - instill 2 drops of anu taila in each nostrils Morning on empty stomach -this helps to stimulate nerves ➖Steam Inhalation Inhale warm water infused with few drops of eucalyptus ▪️Internal Medication 1.Ashwagandharistha 30 ml twice daily after food 2 Agasthya Rasayana 1 tsp morning empty stomach ▪️also do smell training Try to smell very strong substances like Orange Lemon Coffee Old socks Even if you dont feel the smell then also try to smell it This is result in gradual improvement not sudden effect will be seen So be consistent have hope and be strong 😊 Wishing you a good health Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Loss of smell for a long duration, even with the normal scan usually indicates vata involvement affecting the Olfactory nerves along with mild kapha obstruction in the nature rather than a structural issue, this is why you get faint smell at times, they approach should be mild stimulation on nourishment after the natural pathway Start nasya with Cow ghee one drop each nostril Take Ksheerabala avarti cap 101 1-0-1 Ashwagandha aristha 4-0-4 tsp with water
