●Method for making the paste Ingredients: Yashtimadhu powder - 1/2 teaspoon; Pure almond oil - 3-4 drops; Raw milk - as needed. Mix all three ingredients to form a smooth, semi-liquid paste. This consistency helps it spread evenly on the skin.•How to Use - Cleanse face with plain water. Apply a thin layer of the paste. Let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Wash gently. 2-3 times a week is sufficient. Excessive use can tire the skin.•Almond Oil Milk Scientific Basis Licorice: Glabridin and Liquiritin regulate melanin production, reduce tyrosinase activity, and soothe inflammation. Vitamin E, Oleic Linoleic Acid, strengthens the skin barrier and prevents moisture loss. Increases absorption of active ingredients. Natural Lactic Acid (AHA) gently removes dead skin cells, smooths texture, and promotes brightness without irritation. ●Drink 1 | Amla Honey Water Ingredients • Amla powder - 1 teaspoon • Pure honey - 1 teaspoon • Lukewarm water - 1 glass •Method of consumption Mix amla in lukewarm water. When the water cools slightly, add honey and drink it on an empty stomach in the morning.•How this formula works • Amla purifies the blood, reducing bile • Madhu Mang purifies the micro-channels. When the blood is clean, the skin automatically becomes clear.Drink 1 When is it suitable? Suitable when: • Pigmentation • Frequent breakouts • Skin looks oily and dull Drink 1 When is it suitable? Hyperpigmentation, often termed Vyanga in Ayurveda, is generally viewed as a manifestation of an imbalance in Pitta Dosha, specifically the Bhrajaka Pitta (the subtype of Pitta that resides in the skin and governs color). When this is combined with aggravated Vata, it can lead to deep-seated, stubborn discoloration that resists topical-only treatments. In Ayurveda, long-standing skin issues are rarely treated just on the surface; the focus shifts to blood purification (Rakta Prasadana) and liver health, as the skin is considered a mirror of your internal blood quality. The Root: Chronic use of various creams can sometimes thin the skin or cause “rebound” hyperpigmentation. Ayurveda focuses on cooling the heat in the blood and removing the “Ama” (toxins) that prevent the skin from regenerating healthy cells. Internal vs. External: Since you’ve tried creams for years, the Ayurvedic approach would be “Abhyantara” (internal) purification to stop the pigment from over-producing at the source. For chronic cases, a combination of blood purifiers and skin-rejuvenating tonics is typically suggested. 1. Manjishtadi Kwath (Tablet or Liquid) This is the gold standard for blood purification. Manjistha is renowned for its ability to “break” the accumulation of melanin and cool the blood. Dose: 15 ml of liquid mixed with 45 ml of lukewarm water, taken twice daily before food. If using tablets, take 2 tablets twice daily. 2. Gulguluthikthaka Gritham (Capsule or Ghee form) Since your condition has persisted for years, it is considered “Dhatugata” (deep-seated in the tissues). This preparation contains Neem and other bitter herbs processed in ghee to reach the deeper layers of the skin. Dose: 2 capsules twice daily, approximately 30 minutes before meals. 3. Kumkumadi Oil (External Application) For the face, this traditional saffron-based oil is used not just for glow, but to treat “Nilika” (dark shadows). Usage: Apply 3 to 5 drops on a clean, damp face at night. Massage gently in upward strokes and leave it on overnight. If you have very oily skin, wash it off after 30 minutes with lukewarm water. Supportive Lifestyle Tips Sun Protection: Ayurveda emphasizes protecting the skin from “Atapa” (excessive sun). While using these medicines, the skin becomes more active in its renewal process, making it more sensitive to UV rays. Dietary Shifts: Avoid “Vidahi” foods - those that cause a burning sensation or are excessively spicy, salty, or sour, as these directly flare up Pitta and worsen pigmentation. Hydration: Drink water stored in a copper vessel to help balance the Kapha and Pitta elements affecting the skin.

Hyperpigmentation is stubborn and takes time to improve. Creams alone often don’t work unless used correctly and consistently. The most important step is daily sunscreen, otherwise the pigmentation keeps coming back. –Internal Medicines: Manjistha Churna – 3g BD with lukewarm water Khadirarishta – 15 ml + equal water BD after meals Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tab BD after meals - external application: Kumkumadi Taila – local application at night lodhra + chandan + Manjistha lepa – once daily (15–20 min) -Pathya (do’s): Light, cooling diet Include amla, neem, green vegetables Adequate hydration – Apathya (Don’ts): Avoid spicy, oily, fermented foods Avoid excessive sun exposure, heat –Advice: Daily sunscreen (important even in Ayurveda practice) Stress management, proper sleep

Long-standing hyperpigmentation usually happens due to pitta imbalance + sun exposure + hormonal factors + skin sensitivity. Using multiple creams without internal correction often doesn’t give lasting results. First, protect your skin. Avoid direct sun exposure as much as possible. Use a mild sunscreen regularly. Do not use harsh or steroid-based creams. For external care, apply a simple paste of sandalwood powder with rose water or aloe vera gel once daily. You can also apply a mix of turmeric (very small pinch) with milk or honey, 3–4 times a week. Keep skin routine gentle. Do not over-wash or scrub. Diet plays a big role. Avoid spicy, oily, fried food, excess tea/coffee, and junk food. Include fruits, vegetables, amla, coconut water, and plenty of hydration. This helps reduce internal heat. Lifestyle: Sleep on time and manage stress. Late nights worsen pigmentation. Medicines: Manjistha churna 3 grams twice daily with warm water. Arogyavardhini vati 1 tablet twice daily after food. Khadirarishta 15 ml with equal water twice daily after food. This helps purify blood, reduce pigmentation and improve skin gradually. Do not expect very fast results. Improvement comes slowly over 6–8 weeks with consistency. For proper skin type assessment and targeted treatment, you can consult me.

Hi Common reasons I see: •Sun exposure without strict protection •Hormonal factors / stress •Post-acne marks or sensitive skin damage •In Ayurveda: Pitta imbalance + Rakta dushti (heat in blood) So just changing creams again won’t give lasting results. Try these- •Sunscreen (SPF 30–50) daily – non-negotiable •Azelaic acid (10–20%) or Kojic acid creams – for pigmentation (at night) •Niacinamide serum (4–5%) – evens tone (daytime) •Mild retinol at night (if skin tolerates) (2-3 times at night) These work slowly but are proven. Internal Ayurveda Medicine- •Mahamanjishthadi Vati – 1 tab twice daily after food •Amla daily (juice or powder) Diet (very important) Include: •Amla, pomegranate, green vegetables •Adequate water •A little ghee (for skin nourishment) Avoid: •Excess spicy, fried, junk food •Too much heat-producing foods (can worsen pigmentation) Lifestyle •Strict sun protection (reapply sunscreen) •Proper sleep (skin repair happens at night) •Manage stress (direct impact on pigmentation) Honest expectation- •Old pigmentation takes time (8–12 weeks minimum) •Complete removal may not happen, but significant lightening is achievable Dont switch now, follow this consistently. If you want more personalized treatment , share your skin type and history (acne, hormones, sensitivity) etc.
