I came across the herb gojihva while reading about Ayurvedic remedies for sore throat and respiratory issues. It seems like gojihva is used for clearing phlegm and soothing the throat. For the last few weeks, I’ve had a persistent cough and a scratchy throat that just won’t go away. Is gojihva a good option for this? From what I’ve read, gojihva has anti-inflammatory properties and is good for balancing kapha dosha. Does it work quickly for throat issues, or do you need to take it for a while to see results? I’ve seen gojihva mentioned in some herbal teas and syrups too. Should I look for those, or is it better to take gojihva as a standalone herb? Also, are there any side effects of gojihva?
