I haven’t seen a ENT no pain swallowing just feels like a throat ulcer or some unhealed cuts in the throat do you know of any herbs that could potentially help with the healing

You can start on Mulethi kwath- 1 tsp in 400 mL water boil upto 100 mL strain it drink twice daily on empty stomach Mix 1/2 of Triphala churna in warm water and gargle Avoid spicy sour processed foods If still the ulcer won’t heal I would suggest you to consult ENT/ gastroenterologist for further evaluation

It sounds like you’re dealing with some persistent discomfort in your throat area. Silent reflux can indeed affect throat tissues due to the stomach acids irritation. While you’ve been taking some helpful supplements like slippery elm and aloe vera, let’s delve into some Ayurvedic suggestions that may help expedite the healing.

Firstly, ensure you’re following a diet that pacifies Pitta dosha, which is associated with heat and inflammation. Avoid spicy, acidic, and fried foods. Incorporate more cooling foods like cucumber, coconut water, and mung dal (green gram) into your diet. Boiled and soft foods can be easier on the throat, take lukewarm water rather than anything too hot or cold.

Ayurvedic herbs like Yashtimadhu (licorice root) might be beneficial for its soothing properties on the throat. You might prepare a decoction by boiling a small piece in water, letting it cool and drink it twice a day. Keep your digestive fire in check by consuming ginger tea in moderation, which helps Agni without aggravating Pitta.

Your lifestyle matters too. Avoid lying down soon after eating; instead, wait at least two hours. Small changes like elevating the head of your bed may lessen night-time symptoms. Stress-reduction practices, like gentle yoga or meditation, harmonize the mind and body and might indirectly impact your condition.

Continued discomfort should not be ignored, so consider follow-ups with a healthcare professional, perhaps an ENT specialist, to rule out conditions needing more urgent care. While Ayurveda works holistically over time, balancing without overriding any emergency responses is crucial.

Healing can take time, more than a month in several cases, so patience along with supportive treatments can be part of the journey. Always check with a practitioner before starting new herbs or significantly altering regimes, especially with ongoing treatments like PPIs.
