मैं 25 साल का हूँ। मेरा वजन अभी 44 किलो है। मैं अपना वजन बढ़ा नहीं पा रहा हूँ। मुझे एनोरेक्सिया है और मेरी नींद भी ठीक से नहीं होती। मैं अपना वजन बढ़ाना चाहता हूँ।

—Since your appetite is low and you have symptoms of Anorexia Nervosa, try eating small meals 5–6 times a day and include high-calorie foods like milk, eggs, nuts, bananas, rice, and peanut butter. Improving sleep and doing light exercise can also help increase appetite. Gradual weight gain of about 0.5–1 kg per month is a healthy goal. –Rx: 1)Ashwagandha Churna – 3 g with warm milk, twice daily after food. 2)Shatavari Churna – 3 g with milk, twice daily. 3)Chyawanprash – 1 tsp morning with milk. 4)Drakshasava – 15 ml with equal water after meals, twice daily. —Diet advice: Milk, ghee, rice, moong dal, banana, dates, almonds. —Lifestyle: Adequate sleep, light exercise, regular meals. —Follow-up: 15 days.

Maintain a regular sleep schedule and reduce screen time before bedtime. Gentle yoga, breathing exercises, and light physical activity may help improve appetite and sleep. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support appetite and healthy weight gain include: Ashwagandha Churna – traditionally used to support strength, weight gain, and overall nourishment. Shatavari Kalpa – sometimes used to support nutrition and body strength. Hinguvachadi choornam - 1 tspn + 1 glass butter milk morning and 1 tspn + 1 glass warm water at night a/f 🌱3 rd week : 1. Dadimadi ghrtam- 1 tspn with warm water twice daily empty stomach 🌱 4th week : 1. Drakshadi rasayanam - 1tspn morning and night after food 2. Ajamamsa rasayanam - 2 tspn with milk at bed time after food 3. Bringaraja savam - 20 ml morning and night after food 🌱 Externally 🌱Apply - balaashwagandha lakshadi tailam 🌱 Avoid spicy, hot, sour foods, deep fried oily foods 🌱 Intake milk , ghee 🌱 Controlled day sleep 🌱 Oil bath is good

Here is a complete schedule for you to help you in your weight gain journey. Breakfast 8-9.30 am Upma, Poha, Idli, Dosa, Moong Dal Chilla, Vegetable Paratha (Potato paratha once in a while) with a cup of buffalo milk Mid Snack 11-11.30 am 1 fruit which ever you like Lunch 12.30-1.30pm A bowl of Dal A bowl of vegetable Roti Rice 2 tsp of ghee Hi Tea 4 -4.30pm 1 cup of milk with any breakfast item you like. You can have a fruit as well but than avoid milk. Dinner 7.30-8.30 pm 1 bowl of dal 1 bowl of vegetable Roti Rice 2 tsp of ghee ?Things to Avoid? Processed food Oily food Ready to eat food Maida Desserts ??Must do?? Exercise is must Have a fruit after exercise best prefered banana You can replace fruits with boiled eggs Twice a week swimming or running Weight training if possible Surya namaskar daily atleast 10. Start from whatever is possible. Exercise will increase your hunger and you will notice your appetite increasing. ??Medication?? Syp. Drakshasav 3 tsp twice a day before food Tab. Liv 52 DS 1 tab twice a day before food Tab. Ampachak Vati 2 tabs twice a day before food. Full body massage with lukewarm sesame seed oil followed by exercise. Take Tab. Bandy Plus (deworming medication) 1 tab at night before you start your medication. Remember you will not see effect in one or two days but you will notice changes within 15 days. A blend of exercise n healthy food will help you in your weight gain programme.

Include: Warm milk with dates Ghee (1–2 tsp daily) Moong dal khichdi with ghee Banana or mango shake Soaked almonds (5–7 daily) Paneer, curd, and rice Whole wheat chapati with ghee Best weight-gain drink (daily): Milk + 2 dates + 1 tsp ghee + 2 soaked almonds (blend). 4. For Sleep Improvement Disturbed sleep can worsen appetite. Night routine: Warm milk with Ashwagandha Apply sesame oil to soles of feet Avoid mobile 1 hour before bed. Helpful yoga: Shavasana Vajrasana Anulom Vilom Practice 10–15 minutes daily. 5. Lifestyle Tips Eat meals at fixed times. Avoid cold, dry, and junk food. Take daytime sunlight and light exercise. Sleep before 10:30 pm.
