Good morning. Kolarakku Powder is commonly used for improving complexion, mild pigmentation, acne marks and skin glow. How to use on face Take 1 teaspoon Kolarakku powder Mix with enough rose water or raw milk to make a smooth paste For oily/acne skin: mix with rose water For dry skin: mix with milk or aloe vera gel Apply a thin layer on face, avoid eyes. Keep for 10–15 minutes and wash with normal water. Use 2–3 times weekly. For pigmentation/tan: Add a pinch of turmeric and ½ teaspoon sandalwood powder
●For Glowing Skin (General): Mix Kolarakku powder with Rose Water. This creates a cooling paste that helps soothe the skin. •For Dry Skin: Mix it with Milk or Malai (Milk Cream). The fats in the milk provide deep hydration while the powder works on the skin texture. •For Oily Skin: Mix with Honey or Curd (Yogurt). Honey acts as a natural humectant without adding oil, while curd contains lactic acid which helps cleanse pores. •It is frequently mixed with Nalpamaradi Thailam or Kumkumadi Tailam for a more intensive treatment aimed at brightening ●Preparation: Mix 1/2 teaspoon of Kolarakku powder with enough liquid (rose water, milk, etc.) to form a smooth, consistent paste. •Cleanse: Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat dry. •Apply: Use your fingertips or a brush to apply an even layer to your face, avoiding the sensitive area around the eyes. •Duration: Leave the mask on for about 10-15 minutes. Do not let it get bone-dry, as this can pull moisture from the skin. •Rinse: Gently massage with lukewarm water in circular motions while rinsing to provide mild exfoliation. •Moisturize: Always follow up with a light moisturizer. ●Staining: Kolarakku has a natural reddish-brown pigment. Depending on the purity and your skin tone, it may leave a very slight temporary tint. Using milk or curd helps minimize this.•Patch Test: Before applying it to your entire face, apply a small amount behind your ear or on your inner forearm. Wait 24 hours to ensure you don’t have a sensitive reaction to the resin. Use this 1-2 times a week. Over-exfoliating with powders can sometimes irritate the skin barrier.

🌿 How to Use Kolarakku Powder Quantity: About ½ to 1 teaspoon per application. Mixing medium (Anupana for external use): For oily skin: Rose water or neem water (helps control excess oil and acne). For soothing effect: Aloe vera gel. For mild exfoliation: Milk (only if you tolerate dairy). ✨ Application Method Mix the powder with your chosen medium to form a smooth paste. Apply evenly on the face (avoid eye area). Leave for 10–15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry and apply a light, non‑comedogenic moisturizer. 📅 Frequency Since you plan to use it daily, keep the paste mild (½ teaspoon + more liquid). If you notice dryness or irritation, reduce to 3–4 times per week. ⚠️ Precautions Do a patch test first (on inner arm) to check for sensitivity. Avoid using alongside strong cleansers or scrubs on the same day. If redness or burning occurs, stop and switch to gentler mediums like aloe vera.
